I don't remember seeing such a complaint on the forums before, so maybe this is just the issue with my game? Could someone on PC confirm/deny this?

I've had this problem many, many, many times. Clicking the icons is impossible. However, repeatedly bashing the "-" and "=" buttons will eventually make them work.Xalen wrote...
Alright, this has been bugging me a little from the day one, but since I have nothing more useful to contribute, here goes: on PC health and stamina/lyrium potions that have default slots on quickbar are often (read: almost always) inaccessible from these slots (greyed out). But I can give a potion via inventory screen, or even drag it to another slot on a quickbar and use it from there.

Smae thing except mine do work with a click even when greyed out. I finally discovered it was because companions had them set in tactics and, by actually placing them in slots (a different slot for each potential user, my defalt slots on Hawke were no longer greyed out.

The way the weapon stats work the data gets cooked in the first time you load in to that specific area. For main game this is reset at the beginning of each act but The Black Emporium is independent of that so it'll be set the very first time you walk in (even if Final Thought isn't available for purchase yet). We're looking in to why this isn't working for Xbox but I suspect it may be due to the way it is stored on the system.

For those of you on xbox that are having issues with Final Thought: try deleting The Black Emporium DLC, start a new game, save and then go out and redownload and apply it.

That makes sense. I think the first thing I did after applying the patch, was loading one of my playthroughs that was created pre-patch and visited The Black Emporium with my squad. That's probably what caused the issue.
I will try using this method, when I start a new game. Thank you for your input.

- Damage taken during spawn-in time is not accurately reflected on the health bar causing enemies to appear as though they have 0hp but won't die.
I really hope we see this one fixed, i was not able to do rock wraith on NM thanks to this bug :|

Finally getting around to play DA2 again, and installed 1.02 today. I am aware of the Sunder bug but whatever it is that is affecting my save file don't seem to be caused by Sunder (in this case Hawke is a rogue so obviously he has no Sunder...)
I had only gotten to play my dual wield rogue (Act 3 with full Champion's set) and I'm not sure at this time if this affects warriors and mages. So I load my file which I have not touched since patch 1.01. Hawke has 100% crit chance, did 1 quest, save and load only to find my crit chance dropped to 80%. I went on to do "Justice" and then "Last Straw", took Elixir of Heroism after I met GW Bethany and my crit chance suddenly went up to 90% (I didn't even touch Dex at all). I only have auto-saves since starting "The Last Straw", I load the game after I reached the Gallows and my crit chance went back again to 100%. All the while my Dex has stayed the same at 46/56 (can't remember which at the moment). No Maker's Sigh used and there is no change in equipment for Hawke.
So to summarize, crit chance went from 100%, save & load, became 80%, took Elixir of Heroism, went up to 90%, save & load, went back again to 100%. I also saw Fenris dropped from 24% to 4%, which is strange because I thought Sunder will only take 10% off, apparently he had 20% taken off now. He has Rune of Valiance however (which is maybe where the other 10% comes from because it got the nerf). Not sure if other companions are affected but I'm confused about Hawke's fluctuating crit chance. Gonna try and do more testing tomorrow.
*I play on Xbox 360, non-slim version... and on Hard difficulty (if it matters)...

Luke Barrett said it was likely a Maker's Sigh issue, but I experienced it without Maker's Sigh.

Do you have Heroic (Valiant) Aura active on any of the mages? It seems that it has the same bug as Sunder - subtracts stats, and critical chance among them. It was mentioned in two posts on the first page 1, 2

Ah yes that may be the case, Anders has Heroic Aura and he's always in my party. I also did not use Maker's Sigh, I will try to do more testing tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up, been a while since I visit BSF and missed that. So it won't get corrupted... more like saving/loading will cause it to be confused and broken for a bit...?

System: PS3
Version: DA2 1.02 (had not played game before this patch was released)
OK, just come in to find out what the situation is with the "Fools Rush In" quest, where you're unable to enter the Chantry if you picked up the letter before being told to search the bodies (kinda crap database switch there, it should simply recognise that you picked up the letter, not require you to be told to pick it up). Seeing as this is necessary to recruit a party member, I would consider this to be a pretty major bug, storyline-wise, and I'm not in a position to reload a save game just before it happened. I'm now at the point where I'm ready to start the Deep Roads expedition, this is the only remaining quest to complete; are Bioware actually going to bother addressing this and I should go play something else whilst they do so, or should I go on without the party member because they're just ignoring this in the hope people will stop asking?

no hes screwed. as any fix will require a save prior to the event. its not entirely game breaking so you can continue on. you will be forced down one storyline though.

I wanna say it's the patch because I never noticed that prepatch. Has any other XBox players or any other system noticed this? It's a real shame cuz I love Merrill, I've only been using Anders more lately cuz I'm running a dual dagger rogue now that auto attack and basic targeting issues have been fixed and have gotten addicted to Haste, lol.
