 I'd like regional color customization.

Or just a suit that looked eerily familar to...this

What's with the nano suit? Don't get why so many people like it... looks so... eww  ... I certainly don't want to see my shep wearing that (sorta reminds me of the Collector armor in Me2... never wore mine cus it was so ugly).

Yep, I don´t get it too, is just :? I hated it in Crysis 1 and I hated it more in Crysis 2 (that game don´t even deserves that name)

I'd like the old ME1 heavy armor model which every human (Eclipse, Blue Suns, Shadow Broker, Alliance Project Guard, Conrad Verner) has. I really hated that they had better looking armor than I did IMO and I also really hated that they had access to it but Shepard didn't even when its older technology. I really hope they give it back to us as part of the custom armor. I'm also hoping the same mistake isn't made with Cerberus' armors because they look damn cool.

More armor types.

Vacuum and hostile friendly commando leathers outfits for Adepts.
Tech armor with power lighting and some moving pieces for Sentinels.
Light black armor with combat hoods (Kasumi style) for Infiltrators.
Thick and tight plate mail for Soldiers.
Partially pure omni-tool material armor for Engineers.
Heavy metallic combat gear for Vanguards.

I'd love the ability to have armor presets if were still armoring in Captains Cabin. So if i want to try something new and completely different I can save my current armor and set it aside for later. So i don't have to fiddle with it later to put everything back on.

and if anybody brought up Colosus armor I 2nd it, or 3rd it or whatever.

I'd simply like to see more customisation.
class- specific armour sounds good though.

I agree with a lot of your sentiments.

The textures for armor in ME2 werent very good. You could get checkered grooved and various versions or the same dull or gleaming surface. What I would like to see is a black that is actually really black instead of dark grey (unless you change your brightness settings). Id also like to see textures that are varied (e.g. high polished metal, matte paint finish, textured finish, dented metal finish, fabric like matt finish, organic like compound finish). And Id like to see different patterns although you could do interesting things with the two other options they gave you.

But to be able to build armor and adjust it, even for purely cosmetic reasons would be awesome. I spend a lot of time getting my armor right. I didnt like the DLC armor besides the Kestrel, because you just couldnt mix and match to get the right look (and it meant you had a mask on all the time which meant little to no facial expressions visible).

Another aspect I likd was the blue glow. the only problem was that if you are going for blood crimson coloured armor you dont want a blue glow, you want red or another colour. That aspect really needs to be modifiable when you customise armor.

Furthermore, if you could have appendages on your armor. Like spikes or blades in keeping with a sci-fi technologically advanced universe then that would make striking with your elbow more... appropriate and bloody.

That said, if you could have alien blood or human for that matter splattered over your armor like you can have gore in Dragon Age 2 that would be awesome. Who doesnt want to see raining body parts painting the walls and showing up on your armor after a battle.

Perhaps even persistant damage showing up on your armor would be awesome with the option to restore your armor or leave as is. Purely cosmetic but then who doesnt want to bear the battle scars about like badges of honour. Krogans do!

A variety, from stylish and slim like Ash's Specter suit to heavy duty like those Cerberus commandos we've been seeing.

No class restriction, and the choice to wear helmets all the time like in ME2. Basically ME2 with more variation.

I really, really love the piece meal approach to armor. I wish that all of the suits were able to be dissected and customized like the Kestrel and N7 sets. If I could have done that with the Cerberus or Inferno armors they wouldn't have sat in my locker every playthrough. A few more pattern options and some variations of light and medium armor pieces and I'll be very happy.

If they have more DLC armor in the making for ME3, I hope they'll be customizable, because the only thing I liked about the Cerberus armor was the helmet. Same thing with a lot of other armors. I liked certain parts about them, or I didn't really like the color and I wanted to combine different parts.

I also liked the piece by piece approach. The Only thing I'd change to it, aside from adding additional pieces and being able to modify other outfits would be the ability to make your armor have an asymmetrical look. Different shoulder pieces from one side to the next, different gloves. Ect. ect.

I never used any of the free armor downloads or bought any of the paid downloads because you had to use the helmet. I hate anything that obscures a character's face, especially one I had a hand in deciding how she looks.

My favorite piece from ME2 was the Aegis Vest. More armor like that and the Mercenary armor from ME1 would be awesome.

I also liked the idea of the camo pattern, but there wasn't enough color variety and even though I liked it while customizing the colors of the armor, I got bored with them really quickly and decided I liked the normal pattern with all dark red the best.

I also can do without the extra stuff hanging off the armor, especially what look like shoulder pads back in ME1 on the female armor, but lowered because the position of the female chest is lower.

Which brings me to one of my points; they need to raise the female chest an inch or two. Especially from how it is in ME2, it looks really weird, like their chest is hanging off their stomach, that may be a bit overexaggerating but it doesn't look right. It especially looks like that with Samara and Morinth in Samara's outfit.

Also, we can do without the body model size changing. It's present in ME and Dragon Age, especially with lady Hawke in Dragon Age II with the Warrior armor. The armor should lay over and if anything, look bigger than the base body model, not smaller and the shape shouldn't change either.

I would like to see a realistic outlook on future armor. Stuff like what the ISA wears in killzone mixed with mass effect style. A lot more gear to. Who says I have to go into combat wearing nothing but my armor. You send me out there and I'll be wearing radio equipment, backpacks and maybe a plate carrier for some added protection.

I would also like to see class specific armor.

Everyone-N7 armor
Soldier-Something heavy with a lot of damage protection
engineer- a lot of tech. Backpack with repair kits
Adept-?? who knows. I wasnt a biotic player
Infiltrator-(My class!) I would like to see something sam fisherish. Maybe some NV goggles.
Sentinel-same as adept
Vangaurd-also something heavy.

Also, piece by piece editing for the n7 armor was great, but I want a none of the above option. I cant tell you how many times I was editing my armor for a mission an just wanted to get rid of shoulder pieces all together., or maybe go without fore arm gaurds.

Helmet with a skull painted on it , which gives you an intimidation bonus.

Colapsable helmets would be nice. I'd like some animation like in Dead Space 2 when Shepard goes into conversation, rather than helmet just pops off his face. But what would be more cool? If you could just manualy toggle the helmet like in Mass Effect 1. It was fast and painless.

I just want to be able to wear light armor, or at least something besides heavy plates.

A true stealth suit would be nice, too.

No stat bonuses for specific parts of armor. I don't want to put on an ugly piece of armor just because it has the best stat boost. Those should be separate from the armor which is way I only want armor to be for looks.

A bigger variation would be great. A lighter armor or more options overall.
