That way I can roleplay a stealthy Shepard.
As for people wanting 'light' armor, unless they go back to the old breakdowns I don't think you'll see light armor. Otherwise, there's armors that look lighter or heavily. Aegis chest piece and the Health legs look like heavy armor whereas the Shield Harness looks like a light armor. But there's no differences in armor. You mix and match as you want.
I'd also like some better helmets. Outside of the N7 Helmet, Recon Hood, and the Visor every helmet in the game was an eyesore.

Other than that, I can only mirror what others are asking for: light armour. class based designs would be excellent too, but I wouldn't personally expect it to go that far.

The little belt satchels (or whatever they're called) were a nice touch, I thought. More of that.
But allow me to state this: not every armor should have them. Perhaps its because I read comics but pouches quickly become lazy armor design. And anyone who's looked at a comic from the 90s can tell you there can be too many pouches.
There's nothing wrong with having a few on some armors.
And, frankly, I enjoyed the Kestrel armor too. It was like a Space Batman armor suit.

Well, yes. No need to go nuts with them. I do like the odd one or two attached somewhere, if for no other reason than for explaining where I'm producing medigel and the like from.
Anyway. If this sort of thing turned up, I'd be quite pleased. Texture modded Kestral armour is a sexy beast.

Gear is essential. If you don't want it, make it optional. A player doesnt have to wear a small backpack or PC, but if they want more ammo or medigel they should.
This is an example of mine. It's modular so it could have anything on it.

Would love to have some light armors again.
Light armor didn't go anywhere. If you want light armor just wear armor that looks lighter.

A small backpack wouldn't feel out of place. Juxtaposition of textures would be pleasing. Old mixed with the new.

I don't follow.

When it comes down to it and certain things are hitting the fan, you always need some low tech things you can fall back on. ( Personally, I would like to EMP take out the electro magnets that are holding the commanders weapons. All five of those falling at once, and the commander trying to catch them, that would be hilarious.)

What exactly was unclear? There were plenty of armor parts in ME2 that would fit the "light" descriptor. Just because the game doesn't break it down into categories doesn't make the armor not light. Hell, I'd call the base N7 armor "light," personally.

What's with the nano suit? Don't get why so many people like it... looks so... eww... I certainly don't want to see my shep wearing that (sorta reminds me of the Collector armor in Me2... never wore mine cus it was so ugly).
Doesn't have to be pretty to be cool. The functions of nanosuit are awesome.
This gameplay and suit would be awesome to get to Mass Effect 3. The game is just really smooth to play and the cover system works awesomely! Not to mention the sliding across floors with boosters and slowing time same way as soldier does in Mass Effect.
Really awesome game, if you guys haven't played it. Too bad the plot sucks, but gameplay makes up for it tenfolds.

I don't care for the Nano suit. It's functions don't fit the mass effect universe and it loks closer to collector armor than anything else.

It would be like what they are doing with weapon mods in ME3 just with armor's you add what you want for your playing style.
