:D Not that kind of slavery. That's useless and revolting.

Those ill mannered fiends dare wear tophats and monocles as they inhabit another's body without permission, Okku is a noble spirit and will stand against both.

Prepare the bunkers, army, artillery, and everything else! We need to prepare for when they find out we're on to them!

Well Mana Clash requires 33 magic. What are the odds of finding one of those in the mage tower? :wizard:

Point. My mage has been training there all here life and she is still at level 1 with only three spells at hand when she's sent to the Harrowing

Templars really enjoy sending unprepared kids off to fates worse than death.

As if the Harrowing means anything. Temption isn't something you beat once and are completely rid of for the rest of your life. What a utterly useless test. Placing unprepared mages into harms way for no reason.

Annul the Circle. It's the popular thing to do.

Kids and not-kids. They supposedly Harrowed Bethany as soon as they clapped eyes on her, and sending Apostates of widely varrying ages, experience, and level of skill RIGHT into a Harrowing without any sort of formal training to prepare, then well, all I can say is it's a good thing Bethany is a baller, because that sounds like a deathtrap to me.

That's why they did it. They were hoping she'd fail so they could slay her and probably use her as a reason why mages can't be free their whole lives.

Hey, just say no to demons....now we're going to force you to confront many demons. And if you fail or take too long I'll cut your head off.

Oh, and don't worry because they can use your fear against you. And they can prey on your impatience. So don't think about failing or you'll get possessed. And I chop your head off.

And, seriously, don't take long or I will chop your head off.

Exactly. Saying that they protect mages from themselves is BS when they pull crap like that.

Well, their great plan didn't work. Bethany survived and got...um...a nifty robe with a hood on it. And.... Well she gets to be not-dead. For the moment at least, until she looks at some Templar funny or something and he declares she's a blood mage because... um.....

Damn. Bethany is proof that even when mages win, they lose.

Hee hee, win. Wynne. Wynne pwned. She pwned all the n00bs.

I really need to sleep.

I was addicted to crack-o-cane. Then I Annulled the Circle and I no longer feel the need to mug old ladies for my next rock.

Thanks, Right of Annullment!

I prefer Bethany's Grey Warden Robes. Her Circle Robes look.... weird. At least for default Bethany they do.

Just a thought but why are apprentices housed on the first floor of the Ferelden circle? Wouldn't it make more sense to swap the Templar and apprentice quarters forcing apprentices trying to escape to sneak through the great hall, senior mage quarters and the Templar quarters?

Interesting point, fellow Zaeed avatar.

I counter with..."eh, who cares" followed quickly by a possible "maybe each Circle houses its people differently."

After all Anders broke out of the Ferelden Circle how many times? If it was that well guarded and thought out they wouldn't have such many serial escapees.

Kirkwall's Circle's just as bad. Look how many of them escape over the 7 years we're there...well 3 years we see...well I bet each act is less than a fourth of a year since the season never changes. So for the few months we're witness to.
