er... cause that would be boring? lmao... idk...

and something like that is probably what is gonna happen. =/

Boring a bit, but safe and comfortable like Bioware is used to and they are very good at it.  If Bioware was like an icecream they would be all the variants of vanilla.  Plain, with some kicks, yet statifing even though you know what you are getting.

Guys, I completely forget, but do you get the option to kill Rana on Korlus in ME2? If not, I honestly think it might be more of an Easter egg, or something minor in ME3. If you have two chances to kill her off so far, then it could imply that she'll be a little more of a threat in ME3.

My bet's on the Rachni (we've heard about rachni husks) and Balak (I mean, we did what he ultimately failed to do in Arrival xD).

You should've killed me when you had the chance......

I'm trying to think who best fits this very generic line I mean every other badguy in the entertainment and media today says it.

Billy escaped the prison but did he see shep? Was he the guy we talked to in that cell who wished he could go until he found out Shep was a spector?

Eclipse girl para's let this one walk. I did once thinking I would get more dialogue or something to stop her before she fled and go I really don't trust you I want to handcuff you and leave you here to wait for the cops.

Shaila could say it but the Shaila we met on Illium doesn't seem they type.

Maybe the Consort? She screams reaper agent to me but we didn't exactly try to kill her ever.

Balak or the other one who you can let go (forgot his name) either one of these would be right on target for that phrase

Freaky wanna be king guy from the Alliance negotiate the mining asteroid deal - I forgot his name too but he was such a sleaze I hated him but if you choked down the bile and got through it he lives to reap the rewards.

Father Cial - the guy who set up a biotic brainwashing camp you could save him.

Jacob's dad - could bust out of jail during the invasion

Zeed - you did try to kill him once

Koliyat - Ok I'm sure I spelled his name wrong but you get it. Sure he was a 20 something when we met him doesn't mean he didn't figure out how to grow a pair while we where busy killing collectors

Virmire scientist - I know I'm going to regret letting her live anyway

Toombs - you could save him maybe he's really lost it

Anoleis - He seems like the type to craft a plot to get shep into a situation he can't get out of and then he could taunt him with that line

Blake - though I heard she reformed she could still do it

Patriarch - sure an odd choice but we know so little about him anyway could easily betray if you helped him.

Jeog - he's too much of a wuss to take seriously on anything I'd laugh if it was him

Someone from Earth shep's past we don't know?

Crazy volus on peak 15 - what if it was an act or maybe he's gone insane now wants shep dead

Fist - while he could do it I would yawn he's a petty criminal give me someone more important for this role

Jack's alter ego - the guy you stop her from killing

Ok really tired going to bed maybe I'll add more tomorrow.

I would like to bet on someone from Shepard's past, before the events of ME1.

yah I got a feeling about this one as well.  You couldn't kill him in Me1 or Me2. it was never an option.  That guy would  sell his soul to the reapers for a few credits.

I still hope its balak but Harkin sounds like a shoe in.

I think that is Harkin too, since he's been a pain in the ass in ME and  definitely in ME2

Maybe it's Tali'Zorah

I read that in ME3 she has "Unfinished business" with Shepard. Maybe he did something to her and didn't know it.

That would be a terrible idea.  My Shepard, and a lot of other people's, would never do anything to hurt Tali.  It would have to be someone that all Shepard's would have ticked off somehow.

I think Fist and Rana make the most sense.

Both of these are characters who are by default dead in ME2 but who you have to run into in ME1. Each of these characters know you could have killed them and both worked for Saren at some level. This means they could easily be working for the Reapers, or possibly even Cerberus(Fist especially might be) so each of them wouldnt take much of a stretch as to why they'd be trying to kill you.

Wrex doesn't make sense seeing as I doubt if you didn't kill him he believed you could or would, and further there's no real reason for him to turn against you. The Rachni Queen doesn't seem likely because it wouldn't apply to just importers, it would be anyone with the Genesis comic. Furthermore this doesn't seem like something the Rachni Queen would say, even if you changed it to match her speech patterns(I tend to doubt the Rachni Queen is going to engage in some sort of evil taunt, doesn't really fit the character. Shiala seems unlikely just from the fact that she seems to be genuinely helping the colonists in ME2, and if she is dead it's jsut another colonist comes and says the same sort of things. Other choices are purely from side quests or DLC so it seems unlikely that it would be from one of them.

Yeah if it's Tali I want the option to drop my gun and get killed by her. Killing her deliberately is not an option.

I would definitely say Balak if it wasn't for him only being optional content. I'm going to have to go with Fist, since he's someone players HAVE to run into during the story.

I like the idea of Balak.  One things some people were complaining about is the lack of DLC having any kind of impact in ME2 and this would definitely have an impact.

The line is a bit generic and really doesn't say much about the Characters, everybody who at first seems harmless can turn out to be a crazy bad guy,

Now basicly the only thing we know at this point is that it is for people who imported the save from Mass effect 1, this still leaves only the Characters who are dead or absent in the default ME2 game, which is almost every killable NPC.

You mean Manuel? Isn't he supposed to be dead already?
Dr. Cayce from Firewalker Pack (the one you hear the recordings of) is actually him...

But now that you say it, you find the body of his "indoctrinated" collegue Dr. O'Loy but not his... Hmm...

I still think it's Dr. Wayne, the Cerberus scientist who caused the Akuze incident and that Toombs was trying to kill... :P

I bet Balak. For the others i think they either turned to the good side (like the Rachni im sure they were only indoctrinated but will fight on our side in ME3) or they know better than to mess with Shepard, but Balak's an idiot.

I think if you want to argue that it can't be the Rachni Queen because their form of speaking doesn't match the quote, then you have to admit that it likely cannot be a Thorian infected Shiala. The quote doesn't match Thorian speech patterns.

My money would be on Toombs or Balak.

It's probably not Rana, unless she was pulling of a great acting job in the past two games.

I doubt it's Shiala, for both my reason above and the fact that it seems like it would be very difficult for the Thorian to either re-infect her and the colony or swap her for a clone with nobody catching on. I'd imagine that somebody in the Alliance would be keeping tabs on the Feros colony in case things went south.

Harkin and Fist are interesting options and I think it could definitely be them. Although I don't know if I would consider them major threats

Now here's where I say something everyone probably disagrees with...

It could be Benezia.

I know, I know, we fought her in ME1 and she died at the end. But did she really? She makes the claim that she doesn't see the light, which might be more of a quote on religion than anything, but it's never established if anybody actually checked to make sure she was dead. What if she faked her death, waited until you moved on and then snuck out of the area. It would certainly make for an interesting moment in ME3.

Or maybe I'm just engaging in idle speculation, who knows B)

I killed Balak, Fist, Shiala, Jeong, I killed them all...

It has to be someone you left behind or didnt get a choice on, I didnt let anyone live that I had the option to kill. Maybe the person you left behind on Virmire? Maye Powell the smuggler from Eden Prime?

Harkin is probably the best bet. Like you said, you couldn't kill him in ME1 or ME2... there wasn't an option to. You could let Garrus shoot him in the leg. Maybe that's why he says that line.

Plus, most everyone else that has been mentioned is killable. Like Balak.... I NEVER let his ass go, so I highly doubt it's gonna be him.
