- Rachni Queen: Unlikely, from the sounds of things, the Reapers were the ones that controled the Rachni from the war and in the process started the war. The Queen wants the Reapers gone just as much as everyone else. Plus you can kill her.
- The Thorian: I always felt like this planet thing was going to come back in some way; the infected could be carring a....seed within them. So it is possible that the Thorian could come back in someway...
- Balak: Most likely, but not everyone played so it also has a low chance.
- Urdnot Wrex: Highly unlikely, he can die in ME1. Grunt has a better chance then Wrex.
- Corporal Toombs: Good possibleablity but I hope not, soul survivers got the boot when it comes to ME2. Not only did we not get to explaine things to Kadain/Ash we didn't get a chance to explaine to Toombs; the only other surviver.
- Fist: Can die, Shep can kill him. If you bring Wrex with you he will kill Fist either way. So unlikely...
- Ethan Jeong : Hehe unlikely he can die, but it would be funny.
- Ambassador Udina : Unlikely, but still has a good possibleablity.
- Rana Thanoptis : Erm I think you can kill her in both games... But I let her live in both so good possibleanlity.
- Helena Blake : I don't think so, plus you can kill her.
- Shiala : Albe to die, but good possibleablity. However she seems to want to have a 'fling' with Shepard rather then kill them.
- Administrator Anoleis: BWAHAHA I would love to see his return just to take him down again! But he too can die...
- Conrad Verner Erm that would be a twist to his story... but in both games he can die...

Everyone one of these can be killed before even making it to ME3 so I think we should keep looking.

How about Mr. Bhatia (not sure of the spelling)? Of course he's pissed, why was Shepard resurrected and not his wife? Huh?

I think it would be most likely Balak. He had never been fan of humans and after Shep had killed 300k Batarians, he will probably hate Shep more than anything. Also the way how that first meeting in ME1 ended left the feeling that it was not the last time these characters would met. Also he is one of the characters, who Shep had obvious chance to kill and also all the reasons to not him let go.

Corporal Tooms is not bad option either. And he definitely is unstable and quite angry in his email. But I still can't really see him causing any serious confortation like Balak could cause.

Rana would be wild card. She definitely is type of personality, who I wouldn't guess to outright try to kill Shep. But I guess that would make it all more interesting. Also it could possibly means that she would work with Reapers or something, when Shep finds her.


I truly hope that it's not Rachni queen however. While I admit that it definitely would be twist in the story, it wouldn't really make sense with what happens in ME2.

Ooooh, Conrad would be pretty sweet, especially after my b*tch of a Shep shot him in the foot! xD My money's on the Rachni Queen though.

I never got the chance to spare him.  My charm score was at 10 or 11, and still nothing.  He's dead in EVERY playthough of mine, by accident.

Maybe its Wrex, as he says every importer wants to hear and wrex is only alive if you imported your shepard with him saved. Besides he is the only one on this list that is a big deal. Maybe he got indoctrinated?

I honestly think it's either Toombs (who committed suicide in my playthrough so... not really a problem for me), Balak (really looking forward to finally bringing this guy down if they bring him into it), or Rana Thanoptis (Not the foremost candidate on my list but... Seems possible I guess...). I seriously doubt it's the Rachni, but that's just my opinion. Might turn out to be, you never know...

Chorban I think will be helpful actually.  He knows about how old the keepers are and the Citadel from the scans Shep did for him and some of the pieces from Sovereign.  He tells you that in a message.  Which is why I think that.

Why can't the lesser important characters go bad? If they won't, the decisions considering them would be useless. I'd love to see even the smallest decisions effect my game in ME3.

i say its gotta be the thorian.
reasons:
-it was never confirmed to be dead.
-it has 'beef' with Shepard, who tried to kill it.
-twitter post says ME1 fans, not ME2, so it has to be someone/thing only in ME1.
-if you followed the paragon story, Shepard says that the colony needs to be dealt with first, so the thorian would be the first boss you face in the ME story.
-it listened to sovereign(nazara) and sided with the reapers, so the throian would be considered an ally of the reapers.
-if the thorian attacked organics then it would be able to do alot of damage.

why not these people:
wrex: shepard is basically wrex's best friend, and is killable in ME1 (reappears in ME2)
rachni queen: sides with shepard, condones the actions of the previous rachni.
balak: possible it is him, but he is killable in ME1.
Toombs: he seems distraught in his email, but it wouldnt be a big deal to fight 1 human when your at war with reapers.
jeong: killable in ME1, but he is happy(paragon) because you gave him(and exojeni) credit for protecting the colony.
udina: there was not dialog that sugested you were going to kill or attack udina.
rana thanoptis: if you let her live there wasnt any dialog that suggested you were going to kill her, and she appeared in ME2.
Helena Blake: she doesnt have a grudge against shepard, she is actually successful is she didnt continue crime, and appears in ME2.
Shiala: she doesnt have a grudge against shepard, she seems attracted to him, and appears in ME2.
administrator anoleis: shepard doesnt have a choice to kill him directly, and if he lives he either gets set to jail(i guess he could escape) or you help him then he would be grateful to you.
conrad verner: you either kill him(renegade) or you convince him to stop what he's doing(paragon), and he appears in ME2.

so the only one that would make sence to me would actually be the thorian, since both renegade and paragon choose to kill(try to kill) it, and neither confirm it is really dead.

Based on these words I'm going to say Balak.
Especially considering how Arrival ended.
The only problem would be if he was killed. But hey, that's not stopped them bringing Garrus and Tali back.
If someone just didn't download it, then he could appear and meet Shep for the first time. Obviously, he wouldn't get the quote the thread is named after.

Considering there's about 3 squadmates yet to be revealed, he could be one of them.
It'd be a cool story to have him and Shep working together through nessecity only to end up fire forged friends.
That could just be wishful thinking on my part though.

I love Wrex ... If it is him, oh boy.

There are only two characters that I would hate to have say those words: Wrex or Shiala.

Every other choice from the rachni queen to Balak would be easy to snuff in the next playthru ... not these two though.
