I'm going with Wrex. Just because I can.

Holy ****. What if it is Wrex? I mean, Weekes specifically said "ME1 importers" and if you didn't import from ME1, Wrex is dead in your file DDDDDDDDDDD: I LOVE WREX, THOUGH :(

I swear, if Wrex goes all Fai Dan on me due to Reaper indoctrination, I'll put down my controller and refuse to continue. Wrex is my bro. Even more than Garrus, and I love the hell out of Garrus.

Well I hope that if it IS Wrex, then it happens for something context sensitive, like destroying the cure for the genophage

Okay, Toombs is obvious, but I'm going for Helena Blake, she was too goody-two-shoes in ME2 and seems like something else is up her sleeve.

Why Toombs? I somewhat saved him as a Paragon...

I agree. Wrex is always in my party and is also my bro but I wouldn't expect him to put me before his entire race.

It says 'ME1 importers', not 'ME1 Paragon importers'. I'm guessing it's someone you couldn't kill at all in ME1.

That, or someone Shepard didn't KNOW they could kill in ME1, for story reasons.

Perhaps when Sovereign's body was destroyed, he relayed Nazara.exe out to another host, where, because he was hooked up to the Citadel systems, Shepard could've hacked him to death.

OR SOMETHING.

Or something.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Not with Sovereign but a character that you didn't actually have the choice to kill. I don't know who it would be though.

I never met Helena Blake. Or Toombs. And Balak is in DLC, which is optional. Rana Thanoptis doesn't seem like much of a threat.

It's directed to ALL Mass Effect 1 importers. It has to be an encounter that was completely unavoidable.

No matter what, he sends an angry email to Shepard, knowing that he's Cerberus now  in ME2.  And he tells him to watch his back.

Pretty obvious to me.

Indeed, it is also implied that it is something all ME1 importers would want to see. Puzzling this tease is, yes? More incentive to replay ME1.

That Hanar street preacher you convinced to leave the Citadel grounds. He wound up being excommunicated for being so easily swayed and swore revenge. The irony is that he's Blasto's father. At least I think he is. Damn Hanar all look alike. I can't tell the aliens from the animals.

maybe ashley or kaidan? those are the only two important characters that i can think of that you have the option and opportunity to kill, but someone has to survive. i don't know what their motives would be, but you know, just maybe.

Yep. And it has to be someone that could have posed a major threat. The only two people who fit that bill are Wrex and the Rachni Queen. And that line doesn't sound like something the Rachni Queen would say.

If its an encounter that was completely unavoidable what are we left with? Rachni Queen and Wrex?

EDIT: beat me to it^

Jeong
Fist
Rana
Shiala

None of these people really seem like anyone that could be a huge threat to Shepard. Especially Rana and Jeong.

Or you didn't then know that said person would turn out to be THE EVIL BAD GUY.

Also, on an unrelated note, if it was Conrad Verner, I can't imagine he could do much, if any damage at all. Plus, he's sort of likeable. I'd just slap him on the wrist, and tell him to go and 'uncover intelligence' for me out in the far reaches of the Solar System, and have him mail me, his assumably amusing and feeble findings.

Hopefully that'd keep him safe until I'm finished with the Reapers, and then I can see him in the Epilogue, shedding a tear for 'our' success. The happiest day of his life.

If Wrex toss out that line because you destroyed the genophage data in ME2 I'll quit.  That would be redundant as hell.  I recently did destroy the genophage data with another Shep in ME2 and afterward talked to Mordin.  Mordin said he could always recreate it.

My bet is half and half between Balak (I don't think the matter of it being DLC is going to matter all that much, he's still a big deal) or a character we had no option to kill that'll be a surprise. Wrex is also possible, I /heavily/ doubt it's the Rachni Queen - speech pattern is all wrong, and all the other characters thought up are too minor and unimportant. I suppose they could repurpose them, but it's not very likely I think.

Shepard never gets the chance to kill him, right? So it's not Conrad.
