So, I've heard a few people say the Reapers are just coming from the "south" of the galaxy and they already hit the batarians.
Was this confirmed, or are we just going off of Arrival?

This is true. Jesse Houston confirmed it in the live chat after E3.

I'm pretty sure their plan involves long winded sub missions and a focus on attacking the HUMANS.

A few questions: if they just got us, who is next?
And who is furthest away?
And where is the Citadel?

Going by the Galactic Map, Krogan would be next after us, then the Citadel.
Migrant Fleet wouldbe furthest away at the given tmie, but who knows where they would have migrated to after the events of Tali's trial, and during Arrival.

The closest neighbors to humanity are the Krogan, Turians, and Batarians. The Batarians are already getting whipped and, apparently, the Turian homeworld gets its ass handed to it as well. The Citadel is fairly close to Earth, a bit to the northwest. Probably about 1/3 to 1/2 the way to Asari space.
The Asari and the Salarians are the farthest away from the Reapers entry point, but I kind of get the feeling that we'll see Reaper attacks in their space as well before it's all over with.

I would imagine the Reapers would have gotten to the Batarians & Rachnai first. I wonder if choosing to keep them alive will make them an adversary or not.
I also wonder since Omega has probably been cleared out, could It be used as like a hide out of some sort.

1) Krogan DMZ and Turian space are the closer to the local cluster, at least the closer we (as players) are aware of (we have no idea where Elcor, Hanar, Volus, etc home clusters are)...
2) The furthest is Terminus space around the Hourglass Nebula, since it's the total opposite of the galaxy from the Bahak system the Reapers are coming from, so Hagalaz is quite safe... Geth/Quarian space is also very far, as it's even beyond the Terminus and on the opposite side of the galaxy to Earth... Of couse this point is somehow moot: as soon as the Reapers hit the relay network they can be wherever they want whenever they want...
3) A bit further from the Krogan DMZ, so if the reapers keep following the direction they have now it will be hit fairly soon...

All I could think of was how far away the quarians and geth were.
