Anyone notice how default ME story decisions are renegade?
I am trying to play renegade and find it tough to be full renegade.. Shep is a real pr!ck as a renegade lol.
On further note, when a squad mate asks help for his loyalty mission, does selection the option to not do it or "I don't have time for this" count as a renegade option or cancel the mission out altogether?
So Shepard is a pr!ck?

Saying "no" does earn you minor renegade points, but it doesn't cancel the mission. In fact in most cases Shepard doesn't even say they won't do the mission, he just says it isn't a priority.

Oh, guess I gotta restart sometime... I'm trying to get full renegade but I always mess up and get paragon points here and there. It isn't easy nailing full renegade man.

Unless you go bottom right for the responses every time, you will get some paragon points. Unfortunately, there are some conversatins where bottom right isnt available, only middle right, which will give you 2 paragon points from memory.

Good to note.
What about bottom left's?

Bottom left is also pure renegade, and will give you more renegade points than bottom right.
Although, there are situations where you can go the bottom right instead of bottom left, and then a renegade interrupt will become available. While not really giving more ren points, it can add some flavour to the scene.

I always thought that the default ME2 decisions are meant to annoy the **** out of you until you give in and buy the first game.
Always bugged me on my first playthrough that each single alien on the Citradel ****es at me that I killed his beloved Council. I never even met these guys! Why won't anyone believe me?

PC and Xbox can use Gibbeds save game editor to modify their paragon.renegade scores, as well as change ME1 plot flags for a different ME2 lpaythrough experience.
