I usually play femshep, because I am a woman and if I can I play a female lead in a game. (as in my bad ass chick from Fall Out 3) but I have made a maleshep and I am working the game through him next. I cannot use the default for either. Sheploo looks way too much like someone I know, and I just cannot play it. lol. and default femshep is ugh.

Definitely agree with this. Seems like a lot of people like default Jane, but I find her repulsive. Custom FemShep every time for me.
Oh, and to stay on topic, I exclusively play female characters when the option is available. I am a woman and, as I've said in other threads like this, I have no desire to experience anything as a male.

I'm female and I also tend to play female characters whenever I can.
The only Shepard for me is my Cassandra Shepard (who I customized) for both games. Whenever I try to play as a different Shepard, regardless of gender, it just seems wrong for some reason.
But yeah. I like femShep better. I've tried playing as Sheploo, but for some reason I just can't get into Mark Meer's voice.

Am female (and usually play as female characters) but actually like playing as male Shepard. For me personally, he was a character that was already made (you just tweaked his morality) and have never minded playing male characters. Tried FemShep, but it never quite worked for me.
