In Arrival, we learned that Mass Relays can be destroyed. The explosion wiped out an entire solar system. In the Battle of the Citadel in ME1, we learned that Reapers can be destroyed with enough firepower.
Why not use the Relays as weapons against the Reapers? Sun Tzu advocated turning the enemy's own resources against them. The Relays and other Reaper creations can be turned against the Reapers. And being Reaper creations, they are certainly powerful enough to destroy the Reapers. Here's a few ideas.
1. Exploding Mass Relay Trap. The obvious idea coming from Arrival. Lure the Reapers into believing that the main fleet of the Citadel races are located near a Mass Relay, ready to be ambushed. When the Reapers emerge out of the Relay, they see an asteroid 0.001 seconds before smashing into the Relay.
This Relay can be located near a vital planet such as Illium or Bekenstein. And to effectively lure the Reapers there some allied ships has to be sacrificed. This would make it Pyrrhic victory.
2. Collector Base Trap. Not restricted to Renegades. Even if you destroyed the Collector Base with a Paragon choice, you obviously haven't destroyed the Relay near it (the one connected to the Omega 4 Relay). Neither have you destroyed the powerful mass effect fields and radiation shields surrounding the Collector Base (which protects it from the abysmally high radiation and gravity in the Galactic Core).
Now, the Reapers can be led to believe that the Citadel races or Cerberus are studying (the remains) of the Collector Base becuase they are confident that no one could resist the temptation of their technology. They would naturally consider an assault on the Collector Base if they gain control of the Omega 4 Relay.
When they come out at the other end in the Galactic Core, we can either destroy the Relay trapping them there forever (with some of our own forces and Commander Shepard if necessary), or we can destroy the mass effect fields and radiation shields. The Reapers get sucked into the Galactic Core beyond the event horizon.
3. The Citadel As a Weapon. There are so much we don't know about the Citadel. No one knew the Relay Monument is actually a Relay in ME1. The Citadel is also hundreds of times the size of Sovereign. Who's to say that it is actually not a type of Reaper superweapon? That it cannot crush a Reaper like the Death Star crushes a Star Destroyer?
I cannot forsee the future, but I am 99.99% sure that we'll learn something else completely surprising about the Citadel in ME3.

See, I knew the ending plot twist of ME3 all along. Even if no one listened.
Being prescient is such a terrible burden.

In the Codex, it states that people are actually thinking of using the Mass Relay explosian trap.

I wished it was something like the citadel being destroyed, then we could kill the Reapers and the annoying space kid in a single surprise attack!

In case you didn't notice, I registered this new account more than a month ago, before even the demo of ME3 was released. Because BioWare banned me. I chose the usernames precisely so that people know it's the same person. I did not create this new account in the hope that you'll mistake me for a different person, if that's what bothers you.Sdrol117 wrote...

That this thread is from 9 months ago is precisely the point. Its information is relevant now.
And yes, I am indeed a very sad person. Thank you for your sympathy.

I predicted the Indoctrination Theory too. Again many months ago.

It's like ... dare, I say it? It's like you *wrote* the game. I'm going out with a prediction here: We're going to find out that an elcor named iSignIn is the actualy author of Shepard's biography, which was later translated into a game, a few books, loads of fanfic and an upcoming movie. And he's Casey Hudson's brother.
