I often wonder if our feedback here on these forums even matters, it seems nowadays any negativity towards Bioware or EA earns an automatic moderator scolding, and also does bioware not listen to their fans about not wanting a shooter only ME3?  It seems every trailer is a display of shooting with very few biotic powers being used the only one I can think of seeing is the Singularity Liara used during the Kinect demo at E3.  Point is does Bioware even listen to us anymore?  Or is it all about profit like every other company nowadays minus Bethesda

Look at the twitter thread. Look at some of the confirmed features. They obviously pay attention to what we think, and are incorporating it into ME3.

And there are eight months to go until the game comes out. We have only seen three demos, and all were at E3, which is focused on action. Patience, grasshopper.

Considering trailers/marketing is usually different from actual gameplay, and the gameplay we've seen has a lot of rpg-heavier elements than ME2, I'd say you're just blind and not paying to attention to the info that actual matters.

Fact is, trailers don't exist to show off things like RPG features. They exist to have lots of shooting, explosions, and hot women. Testosterone-fests, if you will.

ME3 is far from shooter-only, and there are several threads with confirmed features that will elaborate in great detail as to why.

Remember kids, think before you post.

Minus Bethesda?

Are they making Skyrim out of the goodness of their hearts?

The game comes out next year... and they only recently started showing gameplay. Are you not satisfied OP?

This.

Edit: Its not negativity towards EA/Bioware that gets a mod scolding, its trolling, flamebaiting, and sheer idiocy that does it. Ive been quite vocal on Biowares future since EA took them over, and the only scolding I earnt was when I posted a pic in a troll thread.

No but they did not rush into it, they waited nearly six years to get their **** together and make what I believe will be a fantastic game.

You are accusing Bioware of ignoring fan feedback, and ME3 of being shooter-only.

EVERYTHING we know about the confirmed features we've been shown, directly contradicts this.

Regardless of how long it took, they are still in it for the $$$$

And I fail to see how their E3 marketing was any different from BioWare's

Magic, Dual Wielding, Dragons, AWESOME!!

Feedback does matter and there are many sources, including these forums. And they are the developers and they have a vision. Personally, I'm digging the new grenade power for the soldier and being able to fire a Cryo or Inferno Concussive Shot .

Have faith and patience, I think the cool stuff will be saved for later closer to game release :bandit:

ME1 trailers displayed every class and showed the RPG elements in game as did ME2.  I'm not saying there will be no trace of RPG elements i'm saying there is an undeniable shift from ME1's RPG/shooter hybrid to 2 and from what i've seen 3.  If you can't see that maybe you should "think before you post".

There was a shift in 1 to 2. There has been a shift back to more RPG in 3. That's blatantly obvious in the new weapon mod and skill tree features.

They were not working on Skyrim for 6 years... they had ideas, but the team working on Skyrim did Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas in those 6 years.

And they showed multiple aspects of the game, Mass Effect 3's demo did not, it showed shooting and more shooting, the omni tool blade and the new fat ass feature for those too lazy to move their thumbs to direct squad members and choose convo options.

OP Have you see this interview with casey hudson in regards to feedback?

http://www.gameinfor...dback-loop.aspx

Bioware is reading what we say. I just hope they don't listen to everything we say because there is some bad advice on this forum regarding what should be in ME3. I just want more RPG in ME3 and hope there is lots of dialogue as well.

I have a forum post saved to my computer of a moderator who locked a post for someone saying they dislike EA not cussing ranting and raving just expressing how they don't like EA and why...is that trolling flaming or being a jerk?

You're right obsidian made new vegas so really probably 4 years of true devotion to Skyrim.

Well from what I have seen it has been made more so a shooter BUT i'm not saying I could be missing some info that could sway my opinion and make this a completely obsolete post.  I hope I am being premature and uninformed i'd like nothing more than for ME3 to be incredible otherwise I wouldn't post on these forums expressing discontent and frustration with what i've seen.

I suggest looking over the Twitter thread. Casey and the devs have brought up and addressed a good amount of stuff coming out of this forum.
