I want my new family back - the Lazarus Cell!

I don't know how many feel like I do, but i was pondering the various factions and groups in the ME universe and noticed that my crew was the only group I feel any continuing loyalty to.
Everyone else has used me, manipulated me, called me a liar and a traitor. My crew followed me to hell and back, I saved them from a gruesome fate at the hands of the Collectors, and we never questioned each other's dedication and vision. I feel connected to them as to no other group. When I walk throught the ship and hear them talking, it makes me smile, no matter that I've heard the same talk a thousand times.
AND I WANT THEM BACK!
If the Alliance dares lay a hand on them they'll regret it, and should they have left before I returned to Earth I want the chance to pick them up again. At least some of them. No matter who else is there instead, it will feel lonely without them.

Yes, I would like them back for pretty much most of my sheps that got them back. I'll accept it if Chakwas retires though... I doubt she will though, she's a fighter and I think she wants to go out fighting rather than sat on some desk job.

I hope Kelly comes back, at the very least. She was a delight!

You do not stand alone. I was skeptical playing the recruiter because I was expecting volunteers. But after getting to know my team, I wouldn't change them for a better and more powerful group of bad a**es. They didn't grow on me, they became those who I would place my life in their hands. That's the kind of trust that I have for them. Sometimes accepting new people is hard but BW did a great job. I don't know where Shep would be without them. Anyone of them would take a bullet for Shep and Shep would gladly put bullets in those who would threaten his friends. They may not mean much to the Alliance or Cerberus but to my character, they're the closest thing to family that Shep has.Ieldra2 wrote...
Meaning of course its remnants, the crew of the SR2.

Heck, I'd be even happier if they put some of the original Normandy's crew in with the refurbished Normandy SR2; members who helped defeat Saren, the Geth, and Sovereign at the Citadel. Normandy would be a ship full of damn heroes!

Chakwas? She'll come along just for the ride if I let her. Should we get the change to ask her if she'll come, I guess "we need you" might do the job but what will really get to her is "Don't you want to see the end of it all?"Sir Ulrich Von Lichenstien wrote...

@Saphra Deden:
It would serve you right to be stuck with a tight-assed Alliance crew for all of ME3.

I think if the Alliance takes Shepard's crew, they're going to learn what happens to those who takes Shepard's people. Expect another "Let My People Go!" earth-scorching, nuke-blasting response from Paragon Shepard. Not to mention that the Alliance was completely demolished during the first day of the invasion, so they're not going to be able to put up much of a resistance.
If Paragon Shepard forgets about Lazarus Cell completely and doesn't even mention them, I'm going to question his sincerity during that speech before going to Omega-4 relay.

I'm just a bit nervous about coming back to the SR2 to find it with a new crew and having Alliance finger prints everywhere messing up the place and removing Joker's leather seats

The Collectors took Shepard's people, and look what happened to the Collectors. Anyone missed the Paragon Shepard's speech "Let's bring our people home"? It's like Shepard completely forgot about the main purpose of the mission and rushed to save his crew.

I usually take the other option there because my main Shepard has a "the mission comes first" attitude. But that doesn't mean he doesn't care about them. They're as close to him as family, and that he must think of the mission first is very painful for him.laecraft wrote...

And should the Alliance take any of his people, his response will be along the same lines: "They're going to see what happens when you ****** me off".

I don't want a bunch of terrorists on the crew of the Alliance's finest stealth frigate.

(2) The SR2 does not belong to the Alliance. It's Shepard's ship.
