In the last site update it seems some issues were fixed. Thanks for that. Much appreciated.

However...

After the last site update of the 22nd of July we cannot upload images anymore. It doesn't matter which browser is used. The problem seems to be on the server side.

The first problem is related to the size. If the image is larger than the maximum size then the image won't upload. As far as I know the maximum has changed since yesterday. The maximum size is unknown. It produces an error like this:



The second problem: If an image with the correct size has been succesfully uploaded it becomes invisible anywhere on the site. Here are two examples:





The third problem: Old images (those uploaded before the site update) also become invissible on the Recent Activity page.

Is BW aware of these issues and when can we expect them to be fixed?

I've been trying to upload images and I don't get any error and they look like your second and third image. Blank photos.

I did notice the image icon on a refresh but it disappears in a second. So I hit refresh and repeatedly clicked in the blank box and it did go to the image. So its on the server, it just isn't working properly.

It seems any image with dimensions 500x500 or less will upload, but it just won't show and will instead remain a blank image. This is what happened to me when I resized an image today thinking it would upload properly. It appears the entire uploading service is down.

Same issue. Even when uploading pictures again that are already up there. Please fix this!

I have a semi-related problem. I can't access my Profile Diagnostics page. It keeps saying "Unable to connect to online storage server." I've tried different browsers, refreshed, and even cleared out my cache. What's going on???

We are aware of the issue and are working on it. We have no eta on a fix, but will update you when we have more information.

Problem #1 & #2 have been fixed for new uploads.  Images will be resized if they are larger and thumbnails will be generated again.

I can't confirm the 3rd problem is fixed and I couldn't reproduce or find any examples of it.  Can someone post a link to where you are seeing this problem?

Problem #2 where new uploads aren't visible isn't fixed, unless I found a variation of that issue.  Every time I try to post an image into a projects gallery it says the upload was successful but there are still no images posted. Ive tried different browsers and both methods for uploading images. Also, when I look at my profile for Recent Activity the updates say I uploaded images but only have square outlines with no images in them and, depending on the browser I'm using, a broken link symbol

Ok after talking with a few other people on the forum I discovered that this isn't a site wide problem and that my account has this issue but at least one other person tested it out and worked just fine.

But I know it isnt my computer because I tried to upload an image to the projects gallery from multiple computers.

Can someone from this site please get back to me on this issue? Is this unique to certain accounts? Is it happening to more than just me? Is there a solution at all?

More infor on the bug:
