it should be possible for an ending with shepard dying, as long as it's not pigeonholed into the paragon decision, the hero dying being the "good/paragon" choice just seems overdone right now, at least to me.

Why not just a ending like in Biowares DA origins? The wardens disapear , same with Shepard.

a semi closed ending could also work, they could show what happens to the squadmates, the love interest and the galaxy's situation after the war as narrated by shepard as he's recording these events in his/her journal/memoires and at the end gets a notification from an admiral/council member/squadmate/EDI that there is still work to do.

It would actually work for me, as long as Shepard doesnt die.. I will take it very hard^^ lol. Sad but true.

I always thought dying for the greater good might be a possibility, but it should not be the only way to win. Sure there will be more ways to win. I thought ther was a perfect ending?

Was he even declared dead before Liara and Cerberus helped him? I mean , he just cant, why go carrying a dead body? he may have been the very tattered when he was found by Liara, however,

Mass Effect 2 already ripped the Matrix, and not the first, in-depth, intellectual one; But the dumb, action-packed nonsense one, so I am pretty sure Neo, I mean Shepard -can- die to stop the Mashi -- I mean Reapers, he's also directly linked with the Reapers, and he's the only one who can interfere with the Matri -- I mean their software.

I'm definitely taking the Shepard dies ending. After all this it has to happen. It's the only epic ending. Some kind of grand sacrifice.

Didn't Bioware say ME3 had multiple endings including one where the Reapers win?

if shep is gonna die he is going take as many reapers with him as possible

you can die and fail to stop them that is the worst ending

There are always options.. It was options in both ME1 and ME2 .. In ME 2 You could even die. Why wouldnt you be able to do it in ME3?
