I find it amusing on how us Brits are stereotyped.

But i do think all Americans have that slack jawed accent and you all sound the same.

Example: You are such a fricken douchebag maaaan. Emphasis on the letter a in the word 'man'.

Oh and i always think Americans have that 'yeehaaaw' thing to them, expecting them to say it every now and then.

I say yeehaw all the time, I also  wear snake skin boots exclusively. And I've been known to lasso.

I won't be able to keep my sanity if you had a 'yeehaw' accent and actually dressed like that.

Uzbekistan is, everyone knows that.

I'm quite sure you mean Finland. We created sauna. All other arguments are now invalid.

You created a room where a bunch of guys get naked and sweat together. Congratulations, you created unintentional homoeroticism.

Is this forum actually getting us anywhere??

If people from other countries took a stand we wouldn't be talking about this sh*t

I'm quite aware, as the US didn't win WWII on its own (what most people have the "we saved your asses attitude about), and didn't "invent everything", as some would put it.

It just frustrates me to see people generalize me and my country and assume that we're all fat scumbags that are all ignorant to the rest of the world.

For obvious reasons, that rubs me the wrong way too.

It's exactly the same sort of scumbaggery that's responsible for the anti- comments as the jingoism that I was referring to: the same idiotic minority you get everywhere but who are loud enough to often get everyone else riled.

I can't claim to be unaffected by it too and often have to catch myself, but if I stop long enough to think, it's impossible to write off any country as all good or all bad, as a few people are wont to do.  As for me, there's things I like about the US and things I dislike: and the propensity of that minority to attempt to cause diplomatic incidents is one of the latter but I try to make sure I don't return the favour.

What's better?

America has her faults no doubt, but I struggle to find a nation that would be a better place to live beyond a reasonable doubt.

EU? Those nations' best days were over a hundred years ago.

China? The proles are still **** to them.

Middle East? I'm sure working with an oil sheik would be great until some nut job suicide bombed you ass.

Africa? Nope. Largely a hopeless continent. Well, South Africa is probably the best of the bunch, but that is not saying a whole lot.

Mexico? I'm sure all the illegals think it's better than the U.S.

Canada? Cmon now. All they do is piggyback on the United States' successes and condemn our shortcomings. But that could be said for many nations.

What's better?

I just read between those lines: "tw.at"

I'm American, and I hate a lot of things about America. *shrug*

But don't group us all together. That's just insulting. :P

Unfortunately.

I'm just going to move to Swaziland, and avoid this "internet".

Well funny enough to be "100's of years ago" your governments STILL jump into those nations affairs and left them high and dry, after you milked them, or got thrown out on your rumps, and in the case of the Chinese....yes they still are pissed about it and undoutabely will one day steal everything that was stolen from them back, which would be sweet justice. Europe has never made any ovetures to the people it oppresed, murderd and stole from. And then goes will its in the past! Thats not going to cut it more so when you tell the same "savages" what to do on a daily bases with threat of Military force, or threat of force from your Ally that you treat in a horendous manner.

Such as the events of Hurricane Katrina, when Aid from Russia and China was larger and had less strings to it, a fact our government doesn't mention and hides to perserve the statues qou of the anglo-saxon power base.

As to number 2? Funny enough, when hasn't the American Soldier been shafted or ****ted on by his political masters in the 20th-21st century? As to that I do remember Ike Warning against it, and its hardly the US that does such. In fact every member of the so called Security Council in the UN is also funny enough among your largest Arms dealers.

Ah, we have an Anti-European here! Explains why your so pissed off... I'm sorry, but your simply so blinded by hate that you can't be taken seriously...

And can you show where you got that information from that " In fact every member of the so called Security Council in the UN is also funny enough among your largest Arms dealers."?

....

No? Surprising...

Actully I Can Jack ass, and I will, http://en.wikipedia...._arms_exporters gee....funny how it matches up isn't it... http://en.wikipedia....rmanent_members

And gee part of my issue is I happen to be more related to those who were ****ted on and have countless family members that have fought and died for Policy that benafited Europe more than the US, and thats a fools errand.

Sorry mate, but you need to READ: "These values do not represent real financial flows but are a crude
instrument to estimate volumes of arms transfers, regardless of the
contracted prices, which can be as low as zero in the case of military
aid."

And that still doesn't take away you're a having some serious racist viewpoints. Have you ever actually been in Europe yourself?

Homoeroticism? Bah.
See, finnish males aren't so insecure about their sexuality that another naked man would bother us <_<

Somewhere where I can get free healthcare, education, gay marriage, and where overweight people don't abuse disability income.  That's just like...totally my opinion, though.

They often enter the country illegally, and on occasion cross into the country just to give birth and have their kids be automatic US citizens.

That's the reasons I've heard.

Of course I do, I also only wear ten gallon hats, spurs and usually sport a pair of chaps.

At any rate I think most of this hate for other countries would end if people left their home country every once in awhile. People are just people.

It's the sweating with them that bothers me. I don't need another mans ball sweat around me.

Move to Brazil, heh! Only our free healthcare systems are lame and our education is pathetic. The gay marriage is a bonus, though. :)

You would get attacked by a mob of chavs just by looking at them or you get a reply like:

What you looking at mate you startin? I'll mash you up ennit, get me some cigs?

With so many young mums and dads, the condom is a myth or a urban legened over here.

But they do it for the Council houses!

I moved to the UK from Sweden and have been here for 2 years. My English is better than theirs. It's sad.
