I can't really imagine that they'd stay loyal to Cerberus after you saved them and bonded with them, but I could potentially see the Alliance deciding to charge them all with treason making them unavailable to Shepard exploits.

Then again, it's not really clear why the Normandy, a now Alliance vessel, is en route to pick up Shepard, who is on the brink of being declared a terrorist. Perhaps your old crew + Virmire Survivor decided to just steal the damn thing.

Pretty much this. Same goes for other major decisions like killing the Rachni Queen, destroying the Genophage cure and disallowing TIM the Collector Base.

I disagreewith stements like this.nothing is it's own reward. besides I always save everyone simply because I believe in the 6 P's. Prior Planning Prevents ****** Poor Performance. I've always had every mission done and every upgrade purchased prior to them being kidnapped.

Chakwas was saved in all my playthroughs but Kelly was made into a human smoothie each time and I couldn't care less.

I think Kelly has a chance of joining the Alliance in the final game.

My benefit was having a crew. It would feel like a friggin' ghost ship! Also, you'll probably gain a higher respect from your current and future crew. More loyalty never hurts.

I think the benefit of saving the crew is that there are more humans left to repopulate the galaxy after the Reapers are killed, with heavy casualties (Need at least 50 people for a viable long term re-population)

Chakwas may be back, and I hope to see the others at least make an appearance.
Loved Gabby, Ken, and Gardner.

At the least, you will still a crew aside from squaddies. On one playthrough I decided not to save the crew and I can tell ya the ship is like a ghost town without them. All you need then is a tumbleweed to hit it home.

Just curious what is your guys opinion on the genophage cure? I see them not being technolgically advanced enough to fight the Reapers and becoming bascially an astronoimcally large number of powerful warrior husks.

As much as I like Grunt and Wrex, it's there for a reason. If the krogan are able to get past their savage nature, I'm all for lowering the restricions incurred by the genophane, and eventually removing it entirely... or just waiting for them to overcome it again when the time actually is right.

If that means losing the war against the Reapers, so be it. If that means the krogan will actually join the Reapers because we can't promise them a cure, so be it. But I won't backhandedly use a genophage cure to blackmail them into working for us.

On my main play the crew are dead. Poor Kelly. Chakwas is ok though! yay!

Regardless I always saw the Cerberus crew as passing acquaintances and nothing more. I dont think the Alliance will trust any of the old crew on their new acquisition. Im sure you will hear from them in game, but thats probably about it. With the exception of Kelly perhaps.
