Well we can all safely say that the Virmire Survivor will become / is already a Spectre in ME3
Now I've heard some very good theories on them being Indoctrinated and that they'll eventually turn on the galaxy and become the new Avatar of the Reapers like Saren was.
Now I don't want to start a flamewar and claim that either Kaidan or Ashley is weak or incompetent but I do dare to say that they're not mentally or emotionally as stable as Shepard is which may lead to them being indoctrinated.
Any thoughts?

Try playing through ME1? I've played through ME1 many, many times. Your original, unedited post made absolutely no mention of Saren. I'm glad to see you've added him in to try and justify the title. 

But I still fail to see what Saren has to do with this at all. Saren became indoctrinated, sure. What evidence do you have to suggest that the VS will become indoctrinated as well?

Who did Harbinger indoctrinate at long range without any sort of direct contact and/or devices to relay the indoctrination beams?

As far as we know Ashley/Kaiden hasn't been in a situation where they could have been indoctrinated. Neither have we seen any evidence that the reapers are able to indoctrinate a person without the reaper itself or a reaper device being nearby.

I can understnad me being annoying about not knowing about Ashley/Kaiden, but if I didn't look for it I wouldn't have know. The post is wild speculation though I don't see that happening & if it did It would be a totally different atmosphere. Saren was the tool of one Reaper and commanded the Geth through the first game, being the whole games antagonist. Kaiden/Ashley if indoctinated would play a small role.

I don't think the Reapers would indoctrinate a Spectre to make him go bowling. Small roles for indoctrinated Spectres are irrelevant.
