1) All surviving squad members to make an appearance/be recruitable.
2) More customisation and modifications of weapons and armour.
3) More squad interaction, both with Shepard and between each other.
4) Elevators instead of loading screens.
5) Walking onto and off of the Normandy. Airlocks were brilliant, plus you at least stay docked until you tell Joker to he somewhere.

1. A strong, emotionally engaging story with a definite ending for Shepard. (hint: I don't want Shep to go off to find the true sith at the end of ME3).
2. A very strong, commanding Shepard on the battlefield, but outside the war zone there needs to be an option for Shep to be more human.
3. Better customization for armor and weapons for both Shepard and squadmates. Also, to hell w/ iconography, please bring back uniforms for squadmates while not on the battlefield.
4. A running tally of the dead so that the longer you take to win the war, the larger the death toll.
5. No more ninja cougar femshep. (though flirty femshep voice is fine as an OPTION.)

 1. Small amount of MEANINGFUL sidequests. ME3 has too much plot-related content to explain to waste on pointless "go to mine X and kill Y" - this is the conclusion to Shepard's story, and the overall significance of the quests should reflect that.

2. An unavoidable "rainbow and sunshine" ending. Sure, some endings can end in a mostly upbeat fasion, but the reapers are too powerful of a threat to expect a completely harmless outcome as a result of their galatic war (not to mention it would insult the severity of Shepard's overall goal in all ME games).

3. Playing as a character other than Shepard in an combat environment. Perhaps Shepard is stuck underneath the wreckage of a reaper? Or is wounded in battle and cannot fight on his own? Whatever the reason, it would be completely awesome if Shepard was forced to rely on his companions for assistance; even if it is only on one occasion.

4. Abundance of personal tragic moments. Entire planets are being torn apart - it makes sense that Shepard sees his/her own share of tragedy during ME3.

5. Garrus as a permanent companion. Yes, I know he's been 90% confirmed at this point, but Christina's and Casey's cryptic "ME3 squadmates won't function as they did in ME2" and "When squadmates join and leave you will be a surprise" raise more questions that they answer.

1: Return of the annoying Scions and Praetorians.
2: A LOT of Missions and Assignments.
3: My pride and joy: Grunt.
4: Ability to have the Revenant, the Widow and the Claymore at the same time.
5: Cooler version of mining.

1. "Ahh, yes, 'Reapers.'" -Shepard
2. The possibility of a happy ending, provided I plan carefully and work for it. I want to limp up to a podium in front of the galactic community at the end, receive every trophy, medal, and honorary military status they have to offer, and then smile smugly and say, "I should go."
3. Direct interaction with the Rachni queen.
4. A scenario in which Shepard must be rescued by the highly skilled and badass squadmates we've recruited. I get it, Shepard is the biggest BAMF in the galaxy, but what's the point in picking up a team like this if Shep can apparently just faceroll through the game without them? I want them to show that their skillls and resourcefulness without Shep having to oversee them.
5. A chance to finish what I started and shoot the VS in the face (kidding! Mostly).

1) A complete lack of a "noble sacrifice" ending (unless I see it coming before I get locked into the bastard thing) - BioWare's done this sh*t enough already, and I'm still pissed after the last time.
2) Urdnot Wrex - kicking ass and takin' names at Shepard's side - where he belongs!
3) A happy ending for Jack's story arc... she's earned one.
4) A satisfactory wrap-up for TIM (and if involves unloading a clip up his ass, it's all good).
5) All new and existing romances and relationships to be deepened, not cheapened.

I would have asked for new freaky monsters to smack about and epic galactic destruction via the Reapers, but I know that's already in the post :D

1. Kasumi Goto as a permanent squad member.
2. Have at least 2 different gay/bi LI for manshep.
3. Liara T'Soni to remain a squad mate the whole game.
4. A virmire-like decision where you have to choose between different squad mates on who lives.
5. A non resolvable choice between the geth and the quarians where one race will become extinct because of your desicion. Legion or Tali will join you depending on your desicion.

JamieCOTC, I wouldn't want a running tally of the dead. That would basically be an annoying timer and who wouldn't want to take their time to enjoy a few things in ME3?

I thought of a spin off of your idea. I would love to see them instantly put in the Codex the estimated number of dead from every time Shepard sacrifices a colony, city or planet to save another or for whatever reason and how that death toll can and/or will affect each race involved. Basically, the players will instantly be able to see how a choice of that magnitude changes history. That would be some good impact. The menu should also have a special alert instead of giving a "meh, just another Codex update" type of feel.

Interesting, never considered this, why are we tied down to one person, why not let it all go and romance or try to romance multiply people, sometimes it blows up in your face, sometimes it ends in a happy company. Just saying, Shepard appears to be a young single guy/gal, why not?

1. Interior design (not size) of the Normandy to be more like the original.
2. No loading screens in the Normandy, I would rather elevator, so I am immersed in my ship.
3. Shepard pose with background during credits like in original ME.
4. Epic space battle like the attack on the Citadel.
5. More powerful characters and return of characters like Executor Pallin.

1. Epic squad banter! I want to feel like my squad mates are actually becoming friends this time, instead of acting like they're all just passing acquaintances. Adding to that, I also really hope that Shepard gets to act like a real friend to his companions. Tired of having the same dialogue options shoved in my face and only getting one conversation per mission.
2. Real closure to LI's. I want to feel like my relationship with my LI (Garrus, in my case) actually got somewhere by the end of ME 3. Put some depth into them - I'd like to see them fleshed out, especially for those that romanced Ashley or Kaidan since they couldn't hang with them in 2. Would be nice to get a lot of LI specific scenes. I want all of the LI's to return, too.
3. More Garrus dialogue please. I want to hear more about his family, too. Maybe meet his sister.
4. Thane Krios for permanent squad mate.
5. AND LEGION FOR PERMANENT SQUAD MATE.

That's about it. I'd also really like more stuff to add to Shepard's cabin (including my old stuff. I better get that relic back), cause it's cool to look at.

1. enemies that use the same rules as Shepard: equal damage, equal protection, suffer recoil, have some measure of self preservation, work as a coordinated team to bring down their opponents and, non synthetic enemies to show the limitations of their senses and reaction times.
2. Shepard to actually be able to speak to an authority figure without sounding like an idiot.
3. Shepard to start behaving like a competent commander such as: seizing the initiative, a willingness to use her less trust worthy allies as they would use her, actually coming up with at least one battle plan and, just in general being less of a tool.
4. An epic, compelling and, believable story that pushes the inhabitants of the galaxy to the brink that combines a challenging shooter with a well rounded RPG.
5. More in depth dialogue that allows greater character arcs and, BW to realize that having basic dialogue summaries doesn't prevent a more in depth or even verbatim passage can be displayed when a choice is highlighted.

1) Same-sex romance (I know it's in, but it's been on my list for ages. Love you, Bioware).
2) Shepard's biotics/tech abilities mentioned in conversation when revelant.
3) More interaction between party members & proper friendship path.
4) Consequences/noticeably different endings.
5) Jack, Legion, Samara, Wrex, to have good/strong roles in story (not just a throw-away cameos).

1) DLC closure (I want Balak's head on a pike)

2) The occassional No Win Scenario (if prior choices lead the player to this)

3) The ability for Shepard to actually explain a situation other than, "uh... you wouldn't understand, (Ash/Councilor/Anderson) why I (didn't call you/killed 300,000 Batarians/joined Cerberus)..." For being the ultimate warrior, some dialogue options make Shepard sound like an idiot.

4) An epic space battle (even if just a cutscene)

5) See Tali's face (I promise I won't complain)

1) A good story with closure for both Shepard's story and the whole Reaper business.
2) Production values, please!
3) Fewer immersion breakers.
4) Divergence, with ME1+2 choices finally making a difference to something.
5) Alien side boob. Or Tali's face. Can I haz both? Okay seriously, better dialogue wheels. Please BW give me at least some vague notion of what is going to come out of Shepard's mouth, especially when it comes to romances.

1) Well written, engaging, emotional ending, utilizing the entire squad (akin to the suicide mission)
2) No more FemShep monkey walking (and just better FemShep animation in general)
3) Friendship/Rivalry system (I actually enjoyed that system from DA2)
4) Decontamination chamber with ship turnover dialogue
5) More interactions between squadmates with each other

Oh, and I want to be able to drop the turian councillor from the Kodiak into a Reaper.

1. Multiple endings that range from easy to get from hard to get depending on your choices throughout the series.

2. Good end credits music like ME1.

3. Better biotics that aren't restricted when someone has armor or shields up.

4. Bring Overheating back in some form.

5. For this game to not suck hard. (going to be tough, I was disappointed with ME2)

Alternate 5. Romance scenes to not be Fable fade to blacks but to be good like ME1's were.

A somewhat silly list as follows:

1) A Tupari vending machine for Shepard's quarters

2) More squad banter

3) Gabby and Ken to be aboard as the engine crew again. They were quite entertaining.

4) Space Combat

5) The same (or better!) level of quality of writing that many of us have come to expect from most Bioware productions.
