Yeah the picture showed it, the 3 that came out a short while ago...

I thinks thats the tower they mention in the achievement.

But will it be in another city? Region?

Starkhaven is a city in the Free Marches, will we ever visit that?
Welll :P my first playtrhough as a Warrior i let Anders go ( had to fight him and killed him ) and Sebastian left, and he said hed come back with an army :o :$

Seems the tower won't be in any of the main cities.  The Vinmark Mountains are right above Kirkwall.

What can we make up with this?

If there's an Achievement for having Bethany or Carver in the party, I wonder if the DLC quest is tied to the Amell family, or perhaps it has something to do with Malcolm Hawke's past, which he refused to discuss with his family. I wonder if the developers are going to have the narrative of the DLC permit Hawke to make an important choice that could have consequences, like The Warden's choice in "Warden's Keep" to have Avernus live and continue his experiments.

I wager it could be something closer to the Father's past. I.E. they could have it where it's based after the ending of DA2 that your Sibling has discovered something and contacts Hawke so they can seek it out together. Would be logical and simple addition. Plus it would give the player more face time with the newer versions of their siblings. Their secondary outfits otherwise would have only been seen in flashes within the game pretty much. That being more a thought on console players since otherwise they are stuck using DLC outfit changes alas Mass Effect.

Lets hope we can give our NPC''s armor WE like them to wear!

It's called playing on a PC. You could have them practically naked for free. Ishmael even helped so Merrill looks less like a Giraffe after that night together. The list goes on. But that is probably something that is more regretted since in a game like ME2 it requires DLC to dress up said companions. Meanwhile for Origins and DA2 PC players can still apply addons that others make as long as it's not for profit. Anything from spell modifications. Changes to difficulties. Some fixes for bugs depending. The list goes on. Players have made entire lines of content for Origins alone.

Sadly console players are not so lucky. Dare I say what is the saddest part of all is that a bit of the time the console games are even more expensive than pc games cause of the prices Microsoft & Sony require to publish a game for their systems.  :(

Sebastian didn't risk killing Hawke last time because he knew he'd lose. Sebastian seems to be one of the few people smart enough to realize that Hawke is a killing machine. I wonder if it'll be like when King Alistair gets angry with The Warden over sparing Loghain, since it seemed to be forgotten by the time he became the Warden-Commander of Amaranthe. I can imagine Sebastian would still want Anders dead, though - I just think he'd be smart enough not to get into a battle with Hawke over the issue.

More variation of Darkspawn, not located in any part of the Free Marches we have already been in, there will be side quest along with a main quest, it deals with Hawkes family and there is five achievements. This dlc sounds very promising!

The only thing that puts me off about "side quests" is that in DA2 the side-quests were those boring little fetch quests that would have you find a neclace and bring it back to somebody, whereas "Secondary" quest were the proper fleshed out missions that were not related to the main quest

Remember when they said they were using the feedback to make this DLC? I doubt there will be any "carry this over there" quests this time.. Or at least not many..

Those where not the only side quests in the game. Here is the list of all side quest, more so look at the ones in Act 3 I'm not saying the fect quest where good, they where bad, but if side quest will be more like Who needs rescuing but more dialog and more depth I will be happy.

The picture for the Conductor achievement looks a lot like an "Architect" type of dark-spawn, maybe it's an "intelligent" dark spawn that is building an army/base.

or maybe more of a hooded male figure? hmmm

Beside the story I wonder how the darkspawn will look like, after the second redesign. Hopefully more like in DA:O or DA:A.

Ugh...I really hope the genlocks don't look like he horrible gorilla looking things that are in the DA facebook game. Sadly, thats probably the case. Although maybe just maybe they took the extra time to make the darkspawn more menacing and less comical? Thats probably asking for too much...

Probably nothing, but the icon for the Conductor achievement almost looks like a similar face to the Architect:
Image IPB

Probably just coincidence and its some abomination/demon mage guy somehow connected to the Wardens / Hawke's father and maybe the Enigma of Kirkwall.

Nah the Architect had a higher forhead and some of the structure is off.

True, not all the side-quests from DA2 were those fetch quests, but at the time it certainly felt like they were. What I meant was that the secondary quests felt more "beefier" (which is what the developers said they wanted to do with DLC), especially a quest like Night Terrors etc.

Although saying that some of the side-quests such as Who needs rescuing and Forbidden Knowledge are quite good, and hoping for large side missions in a DLC is wishful thinking.

If anything the side quest in the dlc will probaly be like Forbidden knowledge, who needs resuing, the scroll quest ect, doubt they will be as beefy as say Blackpowder. As long as there is no fetch quest or if there is a fecth quest make it similar to the scroll quest in DAO that added lore.

Yay for presumably involving siblings in the story, some of my favourite characters and they're only around for about 1/3 of the game, if that. Colour me happy.

I wonder why the achievement for defeating an 'ancient evil' is called "conductor"...

Also, I wouldn't suggest trying to move the thread to a no spoiler section, the achievements themselves are spoilers, not to mention the speculation / discussion.

Conductor.

It's because the ancient evil is the mine car from DAII's Abandoned Mine map.

I know of that fiend! Its minions have thwarted us at every turn, sitting sideways in front of former cave entrances, blocking entry, even though we could have totally just climbed over them.

What else could conductor mean? Another spectral dragon? A... music demon? (Bad idea, or worst idea?)

The Conductor is a train with a demon face on the top and when you loot her dead body you get Champion Overalls and a jaunty cap +5 against Amtrak hotdogs.

Yes, even the dullest fetch quests can be good if they are relevant to story or are backed up by lore.

Ancient evil mine cart? A bit of a cliché, isn't it?

Like I've said, my first impression about this DLC is that it seems to offer another lite dungeon crawling experience ( with some story parts thrown in and a 'revelation' at the end ), as opposed to a new settlement/village/camp to explore with a set focus on the meatier roleplaying elements, such as questing/NPC interaction/choices & consequences, etc.

I'm sure this new content will also bring about some improvements that fans might be happier with; maybe we'll even get to see some kind of camp/settlement like that of the Dalish clan from Sundermount.

Just a guess at this point, I suppose.

Everyone laughed when Thomas the Tank Engine took up blood magic. Who's laughing now?

I was thinking this myself. Also I wonder if they will retcon the origins design, and make them the "Ancient darkspawn", because i cant see them reverting back to the old design in the DLC, because you would go from fleeing lothering fighting those white ones, to starting this quest and fighting the old design, wouldnt make much sense continuity wise.

It could have something to do with the song of the Old Gods perhaps.

Who from Origin/Awakening is the most likely cameo in your opinion?
Only if we get one of course.
I think Velanna.
