Just wondering, would you like to maybe have to persuade each nation to help another or something, instead of just other species (ex. persuade a UNAS commander to help out the Germans).

You know we'll all fragment and defend our own land.

In Moscow...

Shep: "Commander Petrov, the Germans need help in Berlin!"

Petrov: "...f*** you."

I doubt each nation has space travel and big ships, but it could be. The biggies are US/UK/Russia/China/India/UnitedEurope if you take it from a present day perspective.

My own country, Denmark, will have been lucky if they helped develop the toilet seats for the Normandy.

Since it's called the United North American States, I'd say the US made a lot of the founding decisions.

Then again, Mexico is states too.

Or maybe Canada is the head honcho.

Difficult to tell that far in the future. I'd be willing to bet either Canada or the USA was the dominant force in forming the Federation. Mexico suffers from serrious fundimental cultural issues that will take more than a couple of centuries to work out.

Commander Shepard is a Canadian (Both voice actor; Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer, are Canadian. They both speak with a Canadian accent.

Like always, US got the manpower, but every Canadian soldier= 15 marines.

Canada is the boss!

Search Canada's 100 days.

Canadian army: 4 divisions

German army: 40 division.

Numbers speak for themselves, we don't have a nigh unlimited amount of grunt, but we have the most trained regular force in the world.

I did, and that's pretty impressive. Sucks how many you lost.

And the last WWI vet died a month ago. :(

Edit: Sorry, last American veteran.

Stereotypes, riiight. We don't forget the war and the heroes and never will, but we don't see germans as hostiles. And no nation. But it'd be cool to see Earth and how it works in 2180s;)

Just joking. :P

I also want to see how a (semi) unified Earth works.

The USA or whatever name it goes by is probably still recovering from the second american civil war, so my guess is that it isn't in top notch shape in game,

UNAS, and the second civil war was around 2100.

It's 2185 in ME3, so I'd say it's fine.

Besides, that was before Canada, the US, and Mexico even conjoined to make the UNAS.

Keep your assumptions to yourself Battlepope, there are as many people up to no good from other countries as Russia.

In regards to your main point: I would hazard a guess and say that Europe are more united in the way that all the countries are involved with the EU and not just some.
India could have a role realisticly they are a big upcommer in space flight nowadays.
