I am sure the Geth will appear in ME3 but will they have a big role in this game? They appeared in ME2 but not like in ME1. I used to hate fighting Geth in ME1 because they were difficult but compared to the sheer amount of husks that you have to fight in ME2 I welcome a return of the geth.
With all of the talk about the Reapers in Mass Effect 3 what about the Geth

The Heretics were largely wiped out during the events of ME2, either by destroying their main base, or by reprogramming them on Legion's loyalty mission. Even between ME1 and ME2, the Geth were largely forced back by the efforts of the citadel fleets, now augmented with additions from the Alliance.
