or none of the above, but whichever one you state, please say why. I can't figure out why so many people are Cerberus haters.

Also, how do you think our loyalties to one over the other will affect ME3? so far it looks like Cerberus loyalists are screwed.

With the reapers, I like this quote "The enemy of my enemy is my friend," so any group that will fight the reapers.

The dynamics, I imagine will be very interesting.

After that, it would be off to Omega and pick up where Garrus left off.

I'd say Alliance.

Shepard has been with them since he was a teenager and they have backed him throughout the series.

People may cite the fact they didn't rebuild him as a betrayal but I think this is an unreasonable assertion given that it practically bankrupted Cerberus and they are by no means short stringed.

No governmental military body could justify spending billions to bring one person back to life.

Loyal to the Alliance, but welcome the help of anyone who is willing to fight with me against the Reapers.

The Council and/or the alliance for sure. My Shep got her Spectre status reinstated and I absolutely detest Cerberus.

My main Shepard is loyal to no one but is willing to support those who are willing to support him against the reapers.

Ah, who am I kidding? Cerberus 4ever.

Alliance and Council, they have their heads on straight about the importance of cooperation. Cerberus is too shady and unethical.

Some different aesthetics & dialogue flavour with no real change in the story/outcome. Perhaps a few side quests exclusive to each branch. Any "loyalist" will be screwed over , Renegons will inherit the Earth.

I am loyal to the migrant fleet! They've been threatened with invasions and annihilation by the council whenever they try to colonize a new planet, were abandoned when the geth rebellion started (even though they complied with the law) and are the only race to believe in the Reapers (i.e. ME Ascension). So yeah, after I'm done destroying the Reaper threat, Tali and I are building ourselves a house on the home world and find a way to procreate!

I support Commander Shepard. The Alliance, the Council, and Cerberus can be helpful, but more often than not they just get in the way.

Alliance - yes as they are just like the best for crying out loud if it wasnt for them there wouldnt be a galatic council as they were the main reason soverign died
Council - no they are to blind to see the truth and if humans werent around they would be dead the saying always be one step in front of your enemies hits hear but for the council there like 1 million steps behind for thier shortsightedness
Cerberus - no never liked them since they messed around in mass effect 1 killing allaince soliders with that becon also ever since i learnt bout them they just seem like the future version of the taliban trying to gain acsencion to a greater place

I am somewhat loyal to the alliance/council mainly  because I think it will be better for humanity in the long run to be on good terms with the council races even if the individual councilors are pricks.  As far as being a cerberus hater it is pretty damn easy considering  their ruthless methods, xenophobic ideology, and overall lack of ethics (look how they ruined Jack's life and turned David into a lab rat).  What I wonder is how could anyone not be a cerberus hater?

I'd say my allegiance lies with the Alliance. I'll happily be a Spectre, but it's purely for the role it plays in helping humans standing within the galactic community, and the freedom it gives me to really knuckle down on what needs doing, my way.

I still dislike Cerberus. Not necessarily individuals. I'd trust Jacob, Miranda, Kelly, Ken, Gabby, Rupert, etc. But only because they've had a chance to vet to know me (and followed me into hell). I don't trust TIM, I don't agree with his no holds barred approach. I get things done the right way. I always felt like I was doing exactly what he didn't want me to be doing in ME2. Not tommention the horrors their Science and Military programmes cooked up in ME1 and Overlord. They're extremists, and I dislike extremists nowhere which way they fall.

The alliance all the way. Alliance offers good reason to support regardless of paragon or renegade choices. I think they are truly representative of humanity for the good and the bad. Cerberus are too ruthless to represent humanity and probably would impose their ideals on humanity if given the chance.

The council I suppose. The turian's an ass but for the most part they're reasonable enough.

Would have said Alliance but the way they backpedaled and slandered Shep after s/he died and their actions since have me seriously doubting them as it stands.

It's hard to say for me. The Council, although they have good intentions, is pretty useless. They gave back Shepard's spectre status, but it's not like that helped in any significant way.

The Alliance certainly showed it's power against Sovereign, but their presence throughout both games has been very small. Laughable.

Cerberus has a problem controlling all their different branches, and TIM is simply concerned with having power, not the stability of the other galactic civilizations.

So I'm loyal to no one. I'll accept help from people that are willing to help. Cerberus was the only one willing to do something about the Collectors/Reapers in ME2, so I never had a problem working with them. If the Council and/or Alliance can prove to be just as helpful, I'll work with them.
