I think all the other LI's will be in the game like Liara was in ME2

We're still waiting for information on this. Maybe there will be a slot reserved on the squad for your ME2 LI. Or they'll join you after they're done doing...whatever they're doing. Or we'll have to settle for emails and cameos. I wouldn't worry too much--they know the ME2 squad was popular, and I'm sure they have something up their sleeves.

Kinda figured that Miranda would stop in for a couple scenes to cause a catfight, but I see no reason for her to take a squad slot.

Less then twelve but as its been said one of the (former now) designers "For those asking about "permanent" squad members, don't assume squad members will work the same way as me1 and me2"

Ashley/Kaidan, James Vega, Garrus, Tali and Liara. And hopefully 3 more, which of course would make 8 "permanent" squadmates.

I don't see why they would want to cut back on the number of squadmates. I loved having so many unique individuals to chose from. Plus their loyalty missions were all fun. It's better to have too many choices than not enough.

Five confirmed so far, so I assume 1-3 more max. Others will be more temporary based, like story or places related.

So what instead you go to his planet recurit his people for finale battle against reapers and he shows up at end?

Thats likely it they said your gathering races to fight and hole cities for you.

Wrex won't just be on his planet, we know from the Demo (unless they change it) that he appears on Sur'Kesh the Salarian Homeworld

Note that before Christina Norman left she said Tali and Garrus being "permanent" squad members wasn't exactly true. I suspect this means that they can be removed from the squad by certain circumstances.

I am hoping the remaining slots can be filled by whoever we choose from a pool of remaining ME2 squad members. That would certainly fit the bill of squadmates not working the same way as before and would make everybody happy, myself included.

Maybe it'll be like the loyalty missions. You'll end up with one squad member picked for you.

Already confirmed temp. Better to have Grunt seeing as you are his battlemaster and he has no where else to really be.

Many teammates are recruitable and who you recruit will affect the endings available to you. You'll still end up with fewer people on your team than you did in ME2.
