Hello there and thank you for taking your time to read this forum message. I'm opening this topic as im really curious about how Bioware is going to handle jokes in mass effect 3.

What i alway's find importend in a game is emotional attachment that makes me want to play a game. We all know there will be a lot of drama in the game but will there be jokes for example.


Remember the shadowbroker Dlc:

For example the taxi sceen. Sheppard saying what kind of guns is this thing having and liara is saying its a taxi it has a meter. Or the joke with the omni tool, or the joke with the fact liara is saying i think this are all the enemies. and the suddenly sheppard say's i told you there are more! things like this make the aspect of playing ME 1 2 and 3 a blast. I remember the fact that garrus got a big piece of desk on him when i was fighting the shadowbroker or when good old garrus was flirting with tali and she said i have a big shotgun. I can go on and go on there are a good old ammount of jokes in the game and bioware staff when you are reading this i hope you do not only focus on the aspect of being sad and the world is dying but there are also good old dry jokes in that.




Are there any concerns, toughts? please keep it civil and leave your trolling somewhere els.

I loved the Shep/Liara banter in LotSB, was a little sad that the other companion had to remain silent though. I also liked that most of the jokes were making fun of ME1, maybe planet scanning will be mocked in ME3.

LotSB has a lot of nice ones, and I'd also love to see fan generated jokes make it into ME3.

There had better be a line about Garrus "calibrating his cannon" all day long.

As well as a catsuit and breather mask being effective protection against a chlorine gas filled atmosphere.

It's great line really, Shepard totally could've said that, with all his previous actions and phrases in first two games. Very believable line.

Yeah, ME2 integrated humor pretty well. Although not always when they were trying to be funny. Harbinger came off like he was supposed to be intimidating, but was one of the funnier parts of the game.

Personally I liked the Blasto ad, the salarian game salesman, and the joke with tali and garrus and the elevator rides.

But yes, there definitely needs to be more jokes like these in ME3! XD

Garrus was the character in this game!

I certainly hope they keep the humor like that coming. Not all sexual/anatomical jokes; however, the ones that gets the players to think such. "I had reach, but she had flexibility." and his other line where he caught himself. " ... Wait this just went some place horrible!"

Definitely there should be jabs at Shep's atrocious dancing.

Femshep should be like Maleshep and actually crack some jokes here and there, depending on Paragon/Renegade speech options. This would give fmshep a bit more dimensionality imo. Of course maleshep should keep his humorous lines.
