If it still doesnt work after a few hours, all we can do is suggest contacting EA support, as there is nothing we can do to help out with account settings on these forums.

Thanks for your answer, I'll wait for a couple of days and try again. Think I'll go play the other great game I bought instead of DA2.Bogsnot1 wrote...
Given the amount of password reset they have been doing over the last day, it could be possible that server synchronisation is lagging behind somewhat, and will take some time for the change to be replicated across onto the gaming servers.

After the earlier troubles with DAO:Ultimate (from steam), now this and especially the direction BioWare has taken with games like DA2, I might very well just leave their games alone altogether. Not worth the DRM-hassle anymore. Others can get their games working 100%, why cannot EA/BioWare achieve that?
But I digress, so again, thanks for your prompt reply.

that is linked to it either. My main account has ME2, DAO 1&2 registerd and has a sh*tload of dlc on it.
So i can't login on the bioware social site, and i can't login in-game through ME2.
I've also tried out DAO2 out to see if the issue was only related to ME2, but i couldn't log in their either.
Is it possible to link my main bioware social account (username of that is "slaYert" btw) to a different email?
Or is my account a victem of the recent hacking incedent that took place on EA Online? If so, can it still be saved?
Please give a respone, cause it would be a real shame to see all my content go down the drain...

The accounts to my understanding haven't actually been hacked to the point of losing stuff, EA just went out and changed all the passwords to prevent an issue. So you will have to get them to send you an email to change your password. I used the forgotten password system to get mine changed and haven't had an issue since.
bolded part to indicate this isn't official word just what I gathered from info.

Anyway, tried again, didn't work. As a last ditch effort I used the in-game email reminder and used that coded link to change my password instead of just going to EA the usual way. After that it worked.
The "defective" password that didn't work in ME2 was fully functional everywhere else, so this is very strange.
Edit: And the new password worked right away, no propagation delay as was suggested earlier.
