If it comes down to having to make a choice in ME3....Quarians or Geth and Rachni or Krogan...Who would your side with and why?

I'd throw my lot in with turning off the game and sobbing for a while, then flipping a coin.

In all seriousness, though, probably the geth and krogan.

Quarians, because the geth are just machines and rachni because they can probably grow more in numbers than the krogans.

Quarians, with the condition that I get to preserve Legion so he can dance for the crew.

And Rachni or Krogan... That is TOUGH. Krogan, I suppose, because of 'ol Wrex and wittle Gwunt. I want me a Rachni Lullaby, though...

Though, I think a situation between the krogans and the salarians is more likely to happen.

Quarians and the krogan (assuming the rachni is the alternative).

krogan and geth. sorry quarians, but you started that war and you're less useful to me.

In half my playthroughs I have already sided with the Krogan. In short I don't like anyone have such individual power as the Rachni queen does so I would side with the Krogan if I had to make that choice.

Geth or Quarians is pretty tough. I sympathise with the Geth and view the Quarians generally as the villians in the entire situation but I would still side with the Quarians. They are actually organic, have suffered enough and have a greater right to "life" than machines.

I thought about that....but given the ME3 shorts we have seen, it maybe that it is possibly rectified without having to make a choice.

Yes, because they are organic and natural rather than a construction.

Push comes to shove? It depends on the situation, but to be frank, I see the geth/quarian showdown being 'Let us shoot the machines!' versus 'We would like to live, thanks'. In which case, sorry Tali, I love you lots, but I'm siding with the geth.

I really don't foresee the krogan v. rachni showdown happening. The rachni want to be left alone, and the krogan are trying to repopulate. Unless the rachni start another war, I don't see some epic fight happening.

that's completely ridiculous. they are sentient are capable of thought and are self aware. add in the fact that the quarians created them and tried to wipe them out for the SOLE REASON THAT THEY WERE SENTIENT, and I'll blow the Migrant fleet to hell if it comes to making a choice.

Perhaps. I don't really know what we can do for the rachni, though. They're just doing their thing.

Oh, yeah. Feel sorry for the machine race that actually did commit genocide.

BSN. You're so mentally retarded.

Right. Because if you were cleaning out your fridge, and you found an old cheeze whiz sandwhich, and it said "AM I ALIVE, DADDY?", you wouldn't scream and stomp on it? Image IPB

The machine race didn't commit genocide, or there wouldn't be quarians. The quarians tried to kill, or terminate, depending on how you view it, the geth, and the geth fought back. Had the quarians not decided to 404 them, the Morning War would never have happened.

I was more thinking along the lines that the Krogan would refuse to fight along side the Rachni and it would be a case of having to choose on that basis.

To be fair, it was either them or the Quarians.

Quarians and Krogan. They are more likely to be reliable allies compared to the Geth and the Rachni. Granted, this is only my choice if it's an either-or. I'll take whatever I can to throw at the Reapers.

Some of these either or choices in ME 3 are going to be a tough call, not sure what I will do with them. They will be alot harder than the Virmire choice. The Virmire choice was over individual people these choices will be about entire civilizations.

Ah, okay, that makes much more sense. If that were the case, who would I send into battle? The rachni. They seem more capable of faster reproduction, and while I wouldn't wish for their species to be wiped out (again), I'll choose the krogan to be saved.

Of course, we'll probably just charm/intimidate our way out of that situation. :P
