Braggin, bluffing, propaganda and what not. It's easier to reap the bent over scared population than defiant ones that believe they can win. Posted Image

Bah beaten to the 37.000.000 year thing.

Personal guess? 1000-10.000

id say around 100 000 seeing it took a hell of a lot to make that 1 human reaper and what they turn up once every 50 000 years.... and its gotta be a figure the galatic fleet can at least attempt to destroy

Reapers target the Milky Way, as far as we know.
The oldest object in the Milky Way is 13.2 billion years old.

13,200,000,000/50,000=264,000

Although this is a bit ridiculous, whatever species created the Reapers probably did take a few million years to do so.

We'll just put 100,000-175,000 as a number.

Why the 75,000 range? Who says the Reapers don't reap other galaxies?

The sad thing is, I'm beginning to think that they DO reap other galaxies. Harbinger says we are approaching YOUR galaxy, not the galaxy or our galaxy.

Traveling between galaxies would not be fun.

I doubt that is it. It would take them far to long to get to our galaxy. They were stuck in dark space becuase we and the protheans helped stop the citadel relay from being acctivated. They had to manually get here and it took them years to travel throught darkspace. It was stated that they remain dormant in dark space to avoid being found, not that they would be busy in other galaxies. Other galaxies would take them thousands of years to travel to. Without fuel etc it would be impossible , but i doubt Reapers have any type of fuel and they just run on dark energy or something we wouldn't think of.

everyone is saying that they can cover every planet or sumthing like that
hes probably lying he wants to stike fear into the spieces so they think wats the point were all doomed
but lets be realistic i highly doubt there are that many reapers but hes got to brag hes not going to say we have enough reapers to cover about 10 planets 11 at most so fear us

iirc, it's 1 per 50,000 years, and that is 20 per every 1 million years.  For 1 billion years it is 2,000 repears. So, the
question is how many years has the reapers been around.  I am curious abt the race that created the 1st reaper.
so, it should be somewhere between 20 and 2,000 repears.

Sovereign also said that the Reapers were not created, "We just are."
The Collectors proved otherwise with baby Reaper. So yeah, I think Sovereign just liked sounding cool.

1 - the rest are holographic interfaces designed to in-still fear.

Its really an old ancient cleaning bot disgruntled at its treatment millions of years earlier causing all this strife.

I'd say in the thousands but I am not even going to try to be more specific. We don't know exactly how long the reapers have been around (definitly millions and possibly even up to a billion years) and we don't know how many reapers can be produced in one cycle as that is largely dependant on the species they are reaping.

In game maybe 5 as agaist Shepard. In cinematic scenes, maybe 100's. In reality maybe 1 000 000's.

Yeah, we have battlefields, but it's allways just personal fights, never real battlefield.

Now we know there are various sizes I would say up to 10,000.

Yeah Sovereign may have been exaggerating with "our numbers will darken the sky" but I think theres some truth to the fact that their numbers are quite vast.

The galaxy is a big place. If they are able to check for all intelligent life everywhere then their numbers would be able "to darken the skies". ;)

I think a few million.
Too many.  You can't beat that many no matter what you do.
Don't you think that that is the point of the reapers?  That their numbers are so enormous nobody can even hope to defeat them no matter what! If there is going to be less than 10k reapers I'll be dissapointed... .
