Samara/Morinth probably not a squadmate anymore.

Liara in Samara's outfit Image IPB

Crap, you mislead me! Where is the freaking cleavage?  Image IPB

It looks like the LotSB outfit in red with a head band .... Image IPB

And Samara was pretty upfront about once the mission was over she was leaving. She was thinking of going to Omega after she was finished ... I should have forewarned Aria. But she did say that if I ever needed her she would be there. So I am sure that at some point she will appear to assist.

Morinth? I have a strict "No Ardat-Yakshi" policy on the Normandy so she has never left Omega.

It was kind of suspected realy... Only one token alien of each spiecies plus a bunch of boring humans seems to be what we can expect. I shall miss the justicar, but not her stupid cleavage.

Hmm in some way ME2 felt like it had too many squadmates. Mostly that was just looking at the squadmate select screen. Felt a bit crowded. Redesign that and room for everyone.

The many squadmates REALLY added to the normandy parts though. In the end most of the rooms had some kind of life in it with tidbits of conversation and story.

Samara wasn't my favorite character. I dislike the way justicars handle thing and cleavage/no armor in battle. BUT that doesn't mean that the character shouldn't play a part in a future game.

Less squadmates means that normandy parts would feel more boring to me and you do really spend quite alot of time running around there.

In me3 I probably have to go through loadscreens and run/walk to get a talk with tali and thats it. Atleast in me2 when I was in the sublevel I could also see and talk with Jack, Grunt and listen to Zaeed and the engineers.

Then again... I have no idea how much voice actors cost.

What is this? A video game about Liara and her space adventures with her permanent squadmate Shepard? The Asari stalker was in ME 1, in ME 2, got her own personal DLC in ME 2, now she's forced on us again, she so is! :OThe third game hasn't come out yet but I'm already sick of her. She has her job of the new Shadow Broker on that distant base and she'd better stay there, where she belongs.<_<
Samara can't not return, she do this to me  :crying:

P.S. I think it's her exclusive appearance pack from CE, not really a justicar outfit.

Optimistic mineralica: but Kasumi's and Zaeed's alternative loyalty outfits in ME2 were also red! Maybe it's just a coincidence - I mean, continuation of traditions? Who wants Colossus armour for Ashley?
Pessimistic mineralica: aha, two asari in squad, both in the role of "biotic expert". Keep dreaming.

It's not a Justicar uniform. It's the same white uniform she's wearing in all the other ME3 screenshots, but with a repainted red texture. And a headband. Red armor and a headband hardly make one a Justicar.

Exactly. You need to learn the secret handshake too.

On the off chance I get a girlfriend I'd have her wear it under certain circumstances. Ingame? Not so much. Image IPB

I think that Samara/Morinth will very much be in ME3... but not as squad mates. It's too easy to make them villains. Samara, even though she's a paragon, is ALSO a Justicar and sworn by oaths. I could see Cerberus forcing her to combat Shepard in the name of her code(trick her into swearing an Oath or whatever). If he was a Paragon, she would regret it... but still do it. If he was a Renegade, she'd enjoy it. And as for Morinth... if you're still alive, that means you rejected her. And she doesn't look like the woman who takes no for an answer. I doubt it would take Cerberus much convincing...

Why would you think that if she offers Shepard a choice?  She's already been thwarted before if her intent was to kill Shepard in her apartment.

Take another very good look at Liara's alternate outfit and you'll notice it's nothing like Samara's. It's simply her Lotsb outfit (including the small cape) in a different colour.

I'd really miss Samara if she only appeared for a two-minute Gianna Parasini/Shiala-style cameo. I love that lovely old justicar. I didn't think she'd appear on the team (certainly not for very long) but I was hoping she'd have some kind of role in an asari-related mission. A bit like Mordin in the demo about the krogan "princess".

*sigh* Image IPB

Maybe I'll just put Liara in the outfit and call her Samara for the lulz.

I wonder if Morinth will pretend to be Samara again in ME3, hopefully not. I can imagine Samara being Shepard's enemy when she's back on her code (which is why Lilah Shepard killed her) but Morinth would really have no reason to fight against Shepard. Although she might try to seduce her again.

I only took Morinth once and that Shepard got his whole team killed and Joker was all that was left. So no imports with the Ardat-Yakshi.

Even if Samara isn't a squadmate doesn't mean she wouldn't play an important role. Samara could give an accounting of the Reaper IFF, Collector Base, etc. missions to convince the Asari that the threat is real & now and that Shepard is likely the best person to lead the fight.

I hear you OP. Bioware is as adept at creating great characters as they are at throwing them in the trash. We get the juvenile, shallow, self-loathing mess that is Jack...but no Samara???

Samara, from a character standpoint, is a more developed and evolved version of Liara. Where Liara verged on - to hell with it- was fanservice, Samara is just the opposite. You didn't even get to touch Samara and you had to take the time to converse with her to even understand her motivations. A great design choice by Bioware. She should have been a squadmate.

Well to be perfectly frank... she's evil. Yeah she gives Shepard a choice. But Morinth isn't exactly all about brute force. Seduction's her game. If she didn't let Shepard think he/she had a choice, she never would have gotten him/her.

** ME2 SPOILER **

We know if yShepard does sleep with her, he/she dies, and Morinths got a ll smile on her face. I just don't think she truly believed Shepard was strong enough to withstand her, I think she was just  seducing him/her. If in the third game she's still been turned down, and as Shepard is the ONLY one who knows that she's pretending to be Samara... he/she needs to be eliminated. (Yeah yeah I know Kasumi hinted she knew too but still) Shepard is a loose end if Morinth and he are both alive in ME3. So, again, it's in her best interest to kill him.

Morinth kills with sex, she's been doing so for 400 years. It seems she enjoys the hunt almost as much as the kill. She wants to seduce Shepard, she probably sees Shepard as a challenge, I can't imagine she'd give up and kill Shepard by conventional means. Besides I can't imagine Shepard would want people to know that she killed a Justicar and let a serial killer go free. Also it might be difficult for Morinth to keep up the pretence if she starts killing again (which she will).
