Samara/Morinth probably not a squadmate anymore.

I don't think Samara will be a squadmate in ME3, do to the same reason that the opener said, but don't think that means she will have a super minor role and only appear for two minutes. After you beat ME2, if you talk to Samara she mentions to you that she has had a great time being at your side, and that when the time comes, she will be more than happy to help.

Although, she does say this before the events of Arrival.

Samara and Morinth being replaced in favor of creepy celebrity stalker Liara is a great tragedy.

This......My Paragon and Paragade have Samara, my Renegon has Morinth....I would much prefer either of those two over the immature Shep obsessed Liara.

Hmph, typical: Choose Squadmate A or Squadmate B, but it doesn't really matter as neither will be with you next game.

It pretty much is DA2's endgame, except with there here still being the possibility of a cameo.

Well, deal with it. I would prefer Miranda, Legion and Samara over Garrus and Kaishley...who're shoved down our throats in ME3.

The upside of Liara being a squadmate is that there's a chance of her dying.

I know, we can kill Garrus and Tali in ME2. But do you really think we'll have the option to tell the VS to go away?

If Samara and Morinth aren't back, I'm gonna be pissed.

1.Because Samara is just awesome.

2.Especially Morinth. Experimenting with killing off all the males on one playthrough made me realize how incredibly weak for gun power most of the women on the team are. Ashley and Morinth were my saviors.

Apart from being red, why do you think it's a Justicar outfit?

Headband/collar thingie.

No collar thingie.  Look at it again.  It's a recolor of the LotSB armor.  It's the head band that makes you think that and for all we know that could be an biotic amp.  Either way, I'm not using it because if that is how it looks it looks hidious.

The real question is: Is the VS impervious to death in ME3? Personally, I don't think any of the squadmates will be getting special treatment this time around. "Mass Effect 3. The plot armor comes off this March."

I would be stunned if it wasn't easy to get everyone to survive like in ME2.

I'm fine with that along as they don't force people to die without being able to stop it.  That would suck to have your favorite character die and not being able to do anything about it.

Forget stunned. I'd actually be jumping for joy if Mass Effect 3 turns out that way.

Of course it would suck but there are things Shepard just can't do. This is "Galactic War" now and losses are expected.

I do believe it has been tweeted by someone, I forget who, there will not be any forced deaths.  Which is good.  If I have to choose who dies, I'm fine with that.  If not, I might not replay it as much as the others if x character dies always, that is going to be a bad thing.

At the same time, they don't consider the Virmire dier a 'forced death' event, since, well, the character in question doesn't have to die.

You might not see 'Garrus will die at story point Y', but they haven't gone against 'Garrus or Tali, you choice, will die at story point Y.'
