Funny, considering the majority of your posts are usually trolling in a Tali thread.

Not one of my posts have been in a Tali thread. I stay away from threads that I don't like. hint, hint.

Man, imagine if theres' a chance both GARRUS and TALI can die?

hubba-hubba, I think I'm in love.

King Zeel wrote...

The fact that Tali not permanent means her involvement in the game is minimal.

And all I have to say to that is: Suck it fanboys, ME3 is shaping up quite nicely.

Romances are new? I distinctly remember sticking it to Aerie, who is pretty much a D&D version of Tali.

Ugh. I'm so tired of these statements. THIS CHARACTER IS LIKE SO AND SO AND SO AND SO AND SO AND SO.

Every character that isn't sexually direct is the exact same character as Tali. People on the internet are scholars.

It might help (me, at least) if you explain which areas you think they won't deliver on, and why you think they won't deliver.

Gameplay length: not my biggest concern but looking at their plate, the large array of characters, endings, romance paths, the new s/s thing we just HAD to have, and this kinect thing. I doubt the game will be that long in the short development cycle.

Plot: I want a good plot but alot of the focus is being pushed on Characters and their romances paths. there is an unhealthy obession with virtual romances with Mass effect fans and it shows. I'm not going to be surprised if Bioware bends and tries to please them over improving content

gameplay: its becoming a shooter, let's not be optimisitic here. This new heavy melee class and the "streamlining" of the gameplay. Sounds like Halo with friendly aliens.

Characters: Now I do love the characters as well and yes the romance mini-game isn't that bad, so i am a little bit concerned about how they're going to treat the characters. Looking at new designs and little tweets and stuff it seems the characters will be reduced to some bastardized version to appeal to the mainstream.

I for one liked DAII (Yes, I played Origins. I just never registered my copy because I downloaded it off the marketplace.). I dont understand all the hate. Bioware has yet to disappoint me. I am tired of all the ****ing. I just wish the whiners would just bend over and take what Bioware is giving them because no amount of whining will get them what they want.

Yes, because we don't want people to speak out against something they don't agree with.  Imagine the the problems that would cause for single-minded corporations.

viva la' status quo!

The people speaking out are the minority. Example. Idiots who want to see the return of the flawed ME1 weapons system.(overheating weapons and Mods) They just want the ability to have a God gun. They could care less about "Teh RpG elementZ!".

I love playing rpg's for the (usually) well-developed stories. To that end, while i'm not 100% pleased with the direction of ME, I have read enough about ME3 to keep my interest high. I do agree that the complaints go overboard at times, but I do appreciate contrarian viewpoints to majority opinions.

For companies like Bioware, it is only right for us as consumers to expect the best. You can say that maybe we are putting too much pressure on them but that is their job and we expect them to put the best of their efforts into their product regardless of whether it's a new product or a continuation such as ME3.

The game industry as a whole is worth billions and developers/companies should always try to exceed the consumers expectations. Otherwise, we would lose faith and the gaming industry will go down.

Sorry, I think you got on the wrong bus. Circus-fun-fair-delusional-world is on the next one. this is the reality bus.

Bioware is a business, one of the main reasons they even let garrus/tali become romanceable was to make the cash.

Uhm, reality is that most people do have high expectations and rightfully so. We've devoted a lot of time into the game and for it to fall flat in it's pinnacle moment would be extremely dissapointing.

Now I do have high expectations but expectations are just what they are. Expectations. It's what helps consumers relay their ideas to companies whether it be Bioware or Mcdonalds or Activision.  You can argue that all of the discussions on these forums are for naught, but as a collective, Bioware can skim through the topic posts and realize "Yes, there are high expectations to be met and we will try our best to make our product as good as possible." It's a business yes, but it's a business fueled by us and if they can't establish our trust in them then we won't have faith in their future endeavors.

Jaheira was in BG1, and I'm willing to bet a little fanservice was involved to get her romancable in BG2. Does that shatter your misguided worldview?

Jaheira, Viconia and Aerie were all excellent written romances without the corny sex scene and more about plot development. They don't compare to the romance crap we have now.

Zeel's basic thought process "OMG BIOWARE HAS MADE ADJUSTMENTS OVER THE YEARS!! ALL GAMING ROMANCES SINCE BG2 SUCK, AND ALIEUNZ IZ BAD!!!"

Still trolls like you are rather amusing. So keep on trucking Zeel.

Get a grip friend. Game companies have been undercutting us for centruries. they don't care about our "expectations" or the "consumers" .

Why do you think characters like Sebastian THAT WERE ALREADY BUILT INTO THE GAME were sold as addon for more money? literally, we were paying for the serial code to unlock content already in the game. Is this your so call rainbow and bunnies company that is looking out for your best interest?

I think you need to go on that next bus, you arent ready for this one.

I know there are multiple versions of Tali, which is why I specifically mentioned the type of ruleset/game this particular version of her was attributed to.

Reading comprehension has never been a strong point of the interwebs, either.

I'm pretty sure you understand both of us when we mock your comparison. You've simply found a few similar traits in the characters and then lumped them together. Thing is, I played both games and I don't see them as the same. they may be similar in some ways but they are still quite different. Why did you feel the need to even say that anyways? does this topic look like I want to discus Tali and future tali's? take that elsewhere.

Ok, I think I'm forgetting to add something in my posts. It's not wrong to have high expectations first of all. I'm not going to bash Bioware if they end up only meeting 70-90% of what I expect. If they meet it 100%, awesome. If not? Still awesome, because they did their best.

BTW, the bus jokes really compliment your arguments.

You truly are a moron.

I prefered to play as a fighter with a specialization in Katana's.
I figured out how to fix the Jaheira romance bugs with a console command.
I enjoyed killing that fool gnome at Aerie's circus.
I always saved Viconia from the mob.
