Is Tali so popular that absolutely NO ONE can hate her character? If somebosy were to say something similar about Garrus and how they didn't not like his character, I would respect that opinion or at the very least not call it an attempt to troll.

Besides, more fans means more vocal fans. Proportion wise its little different than any other fan group. Propability is hard.

Its funny how many people idolize a fictional character or are so extreme in how much they like that character. I'll be honest i think tali is a cool character in the series but some people just absolutly want to be with tali IRL <_<

All fanbases have crazy extreme fans who are willing to murder you over character preference. Tali's fanbase may seem more extreme in this, but that is largely because they generally have to deal with crazier, more extreme trolls. See the post a few above this one for an example.

lol Ill bet most people would say that about the characters they like. What I am getting at though, is that you should be able to like what you want. Most people just stereotype fans.  See the above post from rob for example. When I first came to the BSN, I had a Tali banner in my sig.... which apparently meant I lost the respect of half the people here simply because of that.

I didn't say it was. I agree that simply saying you dislike Tali is no grounds for rage. However, there are a great deal of anti-Tali people who are trolls. Again, refer to the post higher up the page for an example. Personally, I have seen far more crazed and uncalled for anti-Tali rants and insults than crazed Talimancers biting the head off of someone just calmly trying to express an opinion.

It's true, and lets just say that both sides are community killers, plain and simple. 

It's a sad day, a very somber day when you have to phrase everthing you say with a cautionary "Not trolling" statement.

True indeed. Just remember though, if you don't want a fanbase angry at you, not judging all the members of said fanbase is a good place to start.

I never judged ALL of them, just the majority.
