I'm looking at changing the specialisation point gain from gaining 1 atlevel 7 and then a second at level 14, to gaining only a single specialisation point at level 14.

I'm a bit of a nub with modding, so I was wondering what files I should be looking for to edit?

You'll need to change exptable.gda.

Column #4 contains the number of specialization points you get per level (naturally 0 for most). Changing that from 1 to 0 in row 7 will do the trick.
