I'd like to make a list of quests in which different Hawke's personality types lead to different outcomes. I searched this forum but didn't find this information. If a complete list exists somewhere, I'll be grateful for the link!

I know that aggressive Hawke can side with Varnell against the Qunari (and Petrice doesn't die), and diplomatic Hawke can avoid killing Gascard and persuade Danayla's daughter not to kill former werewolf.

What else?

Aggressive Hawke can convince the mercenary tal vashoth to join him in the fight against the tal vashoth leader in blackpowder promise.

I'll have to pay attention to when the options pop up (usually an aggressive icon where the star icon should be.)

It would be really cool to create a guide for this as it's very interesting. It would be awesome if you could somehow take advantage of all the special abilities. Btw who the f let's gascard And petrice live?!?

You can exort more money with a sarcastic/aggressive Hawke in Act 1's "Finder's Keepers," but during the quest you can intimidate Aiden as an aggressive Hawke, and you can fool the guards in front of the warehouse as a sarcastic Hawke.

Sarcastic Hawke can lie to the templars during Act of Mercy (Varric is neccesary to get the same outcome for non-sarcastic Hawke).

Agressive or diplomatic Hawke can give a speech to guardsmen during Raiders on the Cliff (thus earning +10 rivalry or +10 friendship respectively with Aveline)

Also not directly quest-related, but diplomatic Hawke can stop Orsino and Meredith bickering with each other during Qunari invasion, and they will ask him to lead them (usually Hawke has to make this proposition himself)

Thanks for the answers!

So far it seems that agressive Hawke got the most interesting variants...

I have a soft spot for necromancy myself, so I like letting Garcard live. And after the Ketojan quest I prefer Petrice's fanatism over Qunari ways of handling mages. (A pity we can't make Petrice Grand cleric. I'd like to see Petrice vs Meredith struggle in the 3rd Act.)

Diplo Hawke can convince the Dalish Assassin on the Wounded Coast not to attack the former (or not) werewolf. Others have to brawl or let the Assassin go to work.

Though if you have Merril in there, she will mess up the lie by asking if there is really a fire and remarking that it is clever of you when you tell her it is a trick.

I just found out about the aggressive 'finders keepers' outcome and it's epic! I really love this system! (though I wouldn't mind the skill/stat based answers either like in fallout fame)

Also, good point on the necromancy but petrice is so evil and manipulative! Well it takes all kinds I guess XD!

Oh my, wish I paid more attention! My first playthrough was my Hawke doing nothing but diplomatic/good choices.

Normally I just remember being able to talk people out of doing combat or bad choices.

i didn't realise that Petrice was able to be saved...? how does that happen. Every playthrough i have, she gets double-tapped (one to the chest, one to the head) by a Qunari Archer...

According to the wiki, when you come upon Varnell in Darktown, you have to pick the option that amounts to offering your support (or at least not directly opposing him - one wiki page mentions that you have to be playing an aggressive Hawke). You'll have to fight the Qunari instead of him, but Petrice won't be killed at the end of the quest. The Grand Cleric will punish Petrice but the sister will live, and will send you a letter in Act 3.

I can't confirm as I never went this route.

I think aggressive Hawke can also threaten Gascard into helping and living.

My personal (un)favorite is the quest where only an Aggressive Hawke can side against the qunari. Even though my Diplomatic mage Hawke hated the qunari and made every effort to let the Arishok know that Hawke had nothing but disrespect for him. But no, the game won't let me knife the qunari because that's not "consistent" with a Diplomat or Sarcastic Hawke for that matter. I really hate these personality-dependent quests.

This. I'd much rather just have a persuade option.

In addition to what's been posted, the wiki says that an aggresive hawke can avoid fighting the hunger demon in the primeval thaig if:

a) They accept it's deal.

B) They choose the "Back Off" dialogue option when talking to it after defeating the rock wraith.

Yup. The dialogue with Gascard afterwards has some of Hawke's most emotional lines.
