The weekend means fewer, or even, NO answers at all, to some questions

But there are other ways to learn

Readership in forums like this one is already low from late spring through summer, due to the instense competition from so very many outdoor and seasonal activities.  During the middle of the week once summer activity is in full swing, a question may go all day long before anyone who recognizes the problem may suggest anything in response.  Add in the weekend influence, and many questions get no answers at all (very particularly when they are unnecessary questions, already asked and answered many times).

There are pinned threads on top with answers already in them, and there is a forum Find / Search function, but you should ignore it because it is crippled, and unlikely to ever be repaired.  You almost certainly will be better off using Google or Yahoo with a "site:" redirector added to point back to here.  Thus, instead of no answer at all, you can find the already answered threads and get back to playing the game much sooner.

Should the search fail to include a usable answer, there is a fairly standard report form that PC game forums all suggest and is needed here as well:

The one pinned on top in here was originally written by Chris Priestly.

I'll add the equivalent of one "FAQ", for those who are always in a hurry, and ignored the system requirements label on the game:

Now that May is here, we can expect a sudden, serious draw-down of what few experienced game players we have had in here, and next fall, I really doubt there will be any returnees.

The forum archives are going to amount to the main useful resource in here.

There seem to be some minor spikes here and there of people either returning to ME1 after having not played in awhile, or newer players wanting to go for the full experience -- all since ME3 has been out for a bit. I expect that to continue for the near future, but I totally agree. You and I can't help everyone alone Gorath ;) The best bet will be for people to run some searches to find similar issues already discussed here - and a good practice is to read through comments in the threads you find, to see if there are multiple solutions that may be of help to you.
