I'd actually like the opposite. I like to imagine Manshep and Kaidan trying to settle down, but they realize it's not for them so they do a Garrus or something. 

Think Samara: "When I die, it will not be in bed. I am at peace with this." Only, you know, throw in a little something about them dying together. I just don't see Shepard retiring...

The hero always lives. Tried and true formula. Why can't the hero go out doing what he's born to do?

Only after the reaper threat is done. Kinda like in DAO you can get the noble female ending marrying Alistair.... It has to be done right or it will be contrived and suck. I don't even believe in real life marriage it would take a lot for me to go with it in game.

In WWII My grandfather and grandmother married on Oct. 31 1942 48hrs before his squadron shipped out. so i can see getting married during the war. but i doubt it'll happen.

I think it is possible for some characters but I think they will give you the option of proposing marriage to them (I doubt they will force you to either end the relationship or marry).

I can also see a possibility of getting your LI if such character does not become a full squad member just appearing during certain story points. (even possible to go to war whilst she is pregnant)

I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of shep asking his Li for her hand in marriage... or if he learned she's was pregnant.  Might make things more intense and fights for the future for both of them and their baby.
More incentive to kick some reaper ass

No in the real end everybody died when the plane crashed so everything they did for the past what 9 years was a 1 second illusion before death. They started out so well then couldn't figure out how to make all of it make sense so it never happend.

OMG I am soooooo glad I stopped watching that stupid show. It had promise in the first 2 seasons but started getting so over the top and well lost. It truly lived up to its name. Ugh

Yeah I tried to stay on but only made it 3.5 seasons after that I had to give up because you miss one episode you couldn't watch anything until one of the catch up sessions hit because the leaf so and so found lead to the place where they got the key which lead to the spooky fog creature which lead to the base which lead to....all because you missed the leaf you get there and go who is spooky fog thing and why? It did have somre really good characters though.

Like the opinions you all have. For my Shepard (Female) I took Garrus. seem like the right fit. As for ME3 Let hope they expand on the relations, instead of simple comments. I like bit more fluidity with my stories. Properly why I am on Deviant art most days.

I thought Tali's romance has progressed nicely so far. Since she seems to be a permanent squaddie in ME3 and you'll be with her at the start of the game, I'm sure it will be expanded upon throughout the game.

Bioware HAS actually done marriage and pregnancy (albeit Not the Main Character) in-game before.

Or have we forgotten Baldur's Gate (Aerie gets pregnant, Anomen gives a ring, etc...)

DAO approach to sex and ending. BW should offer some choices and then the PC chooses which suits their Shepard best even death.
