Ok so I changed my password on the EA site as per the recent email from EA
I try to use that same new password on ME2 connect to EA servers and it rejects it
it still using the old password
Does it take hours/days to sync the password from the web site interface to the Playstation connection?
Password changed on EA site but not in ME2

Under normal conditions, server synch should be measured in minutes at the most. Given the workload on the servers due to the large amount of password reset requests that have to be processed, it could take some time. If it takes more than an hour or two, I would contact EA support and see what they have to say about it.

I have a similar problem, BUT its between different EA-sites atm. Just left Live Chat, and they had no problem logging in with my account on the site I have 100% problem with (electronicarts.se).
I can login to EA.com and Bioware forums with my current EA-account, and when I change password on EA.com it changes here on Bioware forums also, but its not even letting me login to tada -> (electronicarts.se).

Guessing due to the fact that 1,000s or even more (maybe only 18,000) users are trying to update at the same time it causes major delay. My new password still does not work on my playstation, using my old one.

Well the password I used in January to login ME2 on PS3 on EA-servers, I have changed that EA-account password 3 times since then, but not changed the password in the ME2 on PS3 so its still using the January password, and it's logging in fine even now.

Based on this, sounds like the EA password and Social.Bioware forum site passwords are not linked to the EA server connection on the Playstation, that is kinda funny. Time to experiment I guess

I just created a new PSN account and this Bioware/EA account to test with
Changing my password here has ZERO affect on the password that gets used on the PS3 when making the first connection to the EA server using ME2 start menu with Connect Triangle button
Next test to delete this account to see if the PS3 will still allow for connection.
Not sure why the password for the PS3 connection is not linked to the rest of the Bioware/EA network.
