 So recently I imported my mage playthrough from Origins>Awakening>Golems>Witch Hunt into Dragon Age II. When I imported my first playthrough, a handy list of the decisions I made appeared.  This time, for some reason, there was no list.  I think the list might be loaded from the EA servers - my first playthrough was online, but for some reason my second never had its story choices appear on the website. Any thoughts? Does this have any effect on the actual import, or is it just whether or not you can tell what decisions you made?

My more important question has to do with Alistair's cameo.  I've heard that if you spare Loghain, Alistair will appear in the Hanged Man in Act 1. I'm in Act 1, and I just went to the Hanged Man.  Alistair was not there.  I even made sure I looked in the right spot.  Please tell me he doesn't actually appear until Act 2. If he's not in the bar, then where is he? Is he going to be king, or will the game just not show him? Has anyone else had this problem?

I imported chars whose online profile wasn't updated due to console being activated. I always had a list consistent with what they did.

Alistair does appear in Act 1, but not on your first visit. I think it happens after you spoke to Isabela, IIRC.

I don't know why mine wasn't updated. It is weird that the list didn't work, though.  My friend had the same thing.

Alistair does appear in Act 1, but not on your first visit. I think it happens after you spoke to Isabela, IIRC.

Oh, thank goodness. I haven't gotten Isabela yet. Maybe he only appears at night? I haven't been to the Hanged Man at night yet either.

Well, just to clarify, you have to have spared Loghain AND exiled Allistair. You can still keep Loghain and make him and Anora queen and this will not happen. This only happens if you spare Loghain, tell Allistair you want him to be king, then at the moment of choosing make Anora queen instead.

At least, that is the understanding I had when I got this playthrough.

Then again, if you are choosing the pre-made Dwarf Warden in the DA2 start screen, all of these are taken care of.

 I retrurned to the Hanged Man at night and met Isabela and Alistair.  So far the save transfer seems to be working pretty well. One of the refugees even mentioned 'Queen Anora' once.
