Just don't. I know Microsoft at one point in time was iffy on the whole disk swapping thing. But I think they are past that. (Not an issue with PC/PS3 I suppose). Console hard disk installs FTW.
And no, a soundtrack/multiplayer/level editor/what-the-hell-ever disk does not count as >2.
ME2 IIRC used just about every block on two DVD's. (For the XBOX version at least, have not checked my PC disks). ME be like heroin-we need ever increasing dosages for out fix.

We looked into an install option like the one you describe (multiple disc install, no need for disc swapping) - it was not feasible on ME2.
The way the specific platform works, you can't install a disc and then use a different one for validation. I suspect that what Castlevania may have done is have the "content" disc act like a DLC pack in that it adds on to the game somehow.
I'm not sure that would be feasible for ME3. If ME3 is multi-disc (we haven't been doing layouts yet, so no idea how many it might be) it's likely to be the same as it was for ME2.
Sorry!
(Edit: If this turns into a platform discussion, I'm going to get grumpy and lock the thread. Just a heads up.)
