Brian Blessed, civilisations rise and fall with his vocal command

SHEPARD'S ALIVE! *echo* ALIVE ALIVE ALIVE!

SHEPARD! AAAAAHHH

Saviour of the universe....

Naah actually, we need Blessed to do the voice of a Turian. ie. be on our side

"DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!!!!"

Timothy Dalton to VA a Salarian

Oh and seeing as we're going into this territory that means an obvious choice for a Reaper would be...

Max Von Sydow

Oh and for a female Reaper
Mariangela Melato

No, definitely not Peter Cullen.

Optimus Prime's voice is so... i don't know, wise and caring. He'd make a terrible Reaper, unless one splintered off and decided to help Shepard.

Cullen can do bad you know... he did the VA of KARR in the original Knight Rider series.

Hugo Weaving

Just imagine 'Agent Smith' put through a voice filter to make him sound similar to Sovereign.

Scary thought, isn't it?

That's true... but the fellow above asked for the voice of Optimus. Maybe i took that too literally... though i don't particularly care for his work as KARR.

It's Optimus, just in a different tone with slightly different accentuation (indistinguishable from the Transformers episode in which Prime malfunctioned and was rendered "bad").

If he appeared in Mass Effect 3, it would just be Optimus Prime as a Reaper, which would suck.

What about Eeyore (another voice he has done) as a Reaper

Or of course... The Predator as he did in the original movie.

Vin Diesel... put a Reaper filter over his already scary voice and I'll crap my pants if he asks me if I'm afraid in the dark. ^^

Haha. Yeah, he has pretty good range and could perhaps come up with something that isn't Optimus.... but the voice of Optimus Prime should definitely not be used for a Reaper.

I've never seen Predator... i didn't know those things actually spoke. I'll have to check it out.

Well... technically he would try to procreate, Reaper style, with every alien chick in existence, wouldn't he? That's totally Captain Kirk conform. I support that!

For a Reaper it doesn't really matter as BW uses so many effects on the voice it's not really distinguishable afterwards. I mean I played ME2 after playing LA Noire and could not hear the voice of Biggs anywhere in Harbinger - and I was looking for it.

That being said, I'd love to see/hear Powers Boothe or Ian McShane in a game. And would like to see versatile VAs like Billy West, Christopher McCulloch or James Urbaniak. I don't know why more games don't hire VAs that can do dozens of voices instead of reusing one-dimensional ones. How many times have you heard the same VA using the same voice for the different characters in BW (sometimes even same species).

Yeah, I can hear it now:

"Commander Shepard, we are your salvation, it is inevitable. You're a plague, and we are the cure."

The hero is only as good as the villain after all ^_^

If he were alive, Louis Armstrong. How appropriate would it be, him voicing a Reaper, singing "What a wonderful world" as he makes his way to Earth.

"I see trees of green" *REAPER LASER* "Red roses too" *REAPER LASER*

That song needs to be played for something like that anyway. That is, if ME3 will be darker then the first two. That song with those images could set a great tone, IMHO.

Dead Space has Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, and that worked well
