I am sure Bioware can do it. But I don't think its going to add much more to our game experience if its Zero G or simulated gravity. Plus the amount of time required to do it could be spent on something else.
Basically I think this is one of those things that would be cool to add, however there are time constraint issues. Spending time on this means something else wont be done.
Does that mean there will be no outside space combat in ME3? Probably not, I think we will just get the "kinetic field" explanation which keeps everything and everyone firmly in place.
Doesn't need to be Zero-G combat necessarily. Just a sequence where Shepard boards other spaceship and some portions are so damaged that Shepard needs to float from one point to another. Would bring nice variety to the game, especially side missions IMO.
