The Game of Life. You can never win, you can only finish slightly better or worse off than when you started.

I'm going to say Alpha Protocol. It had great ideas, but was mucked up far too much with gameplay that felt like a failed attempt to emulate Metal Gear Solid. Also, the graphics weren't helping either.

Burger Shop. They promised me a bacon burger but I got noffin'! >:(

Seriously, though, it has to be TW2. I won't share my reasons in respect to those in my friends list who like that game... but I've waisted a good amount of money with it.

Street Fighter IV. If I wanted Street Fighter II with upgraded graphics I could have played Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. At least I'll get a GOOD Street Fighter game this summer when Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition is released.

That's crazy talk. SF4 gave me Crimson Viper and the return of Rose. The only way it could've been more perfect is if Charlie came back too. I can't stand the tragically unfashionable and lame Guile. :P That said if I did want a remix of any SF game it would be SFA2. I miss every character having their old theme music, and the more frenetic, but not vs game pace of that title.

Most disappointing game I ever played? Ever? Probably this Atari game called "Airwolf". I can't remember if it was 2600 or 7800. I'm thinking 2600. It was a classic case of false advertising. The cover art made me think it was based on the show, and the screenshots on the box seemed interesting enough. When I finally got to play the game I realized it was *nothing* like the show. Not even in that quaint, hideously ugly but still familiar 2600 graphics sort of way. I felt sad after buying it. Not angry. Sad. I had been cheated out of not only my gift opportunity, but the dream that built up in my childhood mind.

More recently: "Mass Effect". Talk about meh.

I cannot win, but I'm content with assuring my enemies can't either :D.

Games? Hmm.. I've seen plenty that were disappointing...... but its hard to judge a particular failure so great that it stands out... I'm usually good at avoiding the such. I rarely buy games new and often read reviews before purchasing.

waves of enemies i see people complaining about alot in da2 but there were waves of enemies in dragon age origins and the darkspawn came out of the ground like they just dug a tunnel wtf da2 was an improvement in my eyes on most parts of the game except recycled areas but it was the same in origins.

@slimgrin - The original was a decidedly mediocre effort in my eyes. ME2 was leagues better.

@Some Geth - I thought so too once. Then I grew up and realized what good fashion taste was. ;) Also Charlie wears glasses. Glasses > flag tattoo. His theme music is better too. Yes, I went there. I attacked Guile's *music*. Booyah! :P

Probably Neverwinter nights 2. I loved NWN1 and its expansions and was all hyped by the nwn2 advertising, but for some reason I could never bring myself to go even through the harvest fair.

white knight chronicles dissapointed me too .... YOU CANT WEAR HELMETS!! and the story was so repetitive oh no its the dark knight kill it with the white knight which happens 3 times but it did have some good qualities too like creating your own combos.

I didn't write Guile's theme was bad. Charlie's theme is better, that's all. B)

I prefer Guile's theme to this. Mainly 'cause the video editing makes Guile's theme better rather than the other way around. :D

Were you disappointed because you thought it could be good or because you didn't expect it to be that bad?
