Probably cats 2 for the wii....but I sort of figured it would be terrible before I played it. Just didn't think it would be as terrible as it was.

You thought Vice City sucked? That's one of the greatest games ever!

Fable 3 and Fallout 3. yes, Fallout 3 was fun, but I could not BELIEVE the ending. I had a ****ing mutant with me immune to radiation and I couldn't send him in to punch in the code? Noooooooo, you have to kill yourself or sacrifice the hot chick.

Silent Hill 4 and beyond - With the exception of Shattered Memories this series went down the tubes REAL fast. What happened to this once beloved franchise of mine? :(1-3 are some of the most beautiful stories I've seen in video games (ESPECIALLY 2 omg....)

Bulletstorm - It looked so quirky and filled with so much over-the-top violence and creative swearing, I thought it would be so silly and fun, but it was just meh. The whole "Pull then kick" mechaninc got old REALLY fast.

Madworld - It looked like such a neat concept, and was just complete garbage.

Epic Mickey - Another great concept with poor execution.

Final Fantasy XII and and XIII - Never really was the same after X. Didn't even bother with XI and XIV.

For now it's going to be Mass Effect 2. Not that I didn't enjoy it to certain extent, but I really expected more of it, at least to be as good (RPG, character development and overall story wise) as the original game.

Dragon Age II. Well... Yeah. >_>

Absolutely without any doubt, biggest disappointment ever for me in a game:

Deus Ex: Invisible War

Certainly not the worst game ever, but for me, definitely the most disappointing.

As I haven't played DA2 and I won't, then the prize goes to Empire Earth III. Except the first play I haven't installed it again.

Good the game was bad.

As for Ruby she was very "meh" and bad voice acting did not help.

NWN, because it wasn't BG3. Also, because I'm not into multiplayer.

Heavy Rain - Was told it was going to be a throwback to old point and click adventure stories and what i got was "Bash the button!" "Press the arrows in sequence now!" "Shake the controller you need your inhaler!" If i wanted to play a rhythm game i'd play a good one like Um Jammer Lammy

Crysis - Yeah the graphics look lovely if you have the rig to support it but the story is stupid, The gameplay is dull and the AI makes sure all enemies are psychic which destroys all immersion whatsoever.

Jade Empire - I came into this game a bit late with the PC version but i'd heard a lot about it from people and wanted to play it for myself. Very poorly written game with a predictable storyline that totally failed to live up to the hype it got.

Fallout 3 - There must be something great about this game that i am not understanding but i gave up several hours into it as i just found the game incredibly boring. Most people only seem to like it because it's open world personally i find that aspect quite boring because you're just wondering around aimlessly much of the time plus the combat feels really sluggish and frustrating.

The Witcher - This game has to be the most tedious and fiddly RPG I've ever played. A lot of missions involve talking endlessly to people. On and on it goes - talk to this guy, now go across the map (no fast-travel for you!) and talk to that guy, then off to some other place to talk to another guy, etc. Combat is absurd - the combat system is variously described as 'original' and 'novel' but 'like an irritating game of whack-a-mole' would be more accurate.
There's little free roaming either, you're mostly confined to one map at a time. Voice acting ranges from average to ridiculous and the wanton swearing and porny-pics of women your dislikable character 'seduces' are laughably absurd, and the skill system insane to navigate. There is a thick manual included in this game but it's not terribly helpful - installation instructions are placed on chapter 4, behind descriptions of the notable swamps and inns of the gameworld! The graphics are pretty good and I did like the grim world in which it was set, but the game itself was irritating and boring. I tried to like it (due to the amount I spent on it) but after multiple attempts and a dozen wasted hours I gave up.

The most dissapointing game I ever bought was clearly
1) Dragon Age II
It is followed by
2) Star Trek Legacy
Bought it for 5€ but still to much imo. And finally
3) Empire: Total War
though Dartmods saved the game for me and I played it quite often with them.
But the release version was an insult only topped by DA2 which is beyond savable I'm afraid.

I don't see how this game was poorly written, it was a compelling experience throughout the entire game. The only thing anyone could complain about, is the lack of customization and combat because it was such a far cry from the usual BioWare game, but even then it's still a great game with great backstory.

l33tdawg said:For most people, or those who tried to do everything they could first play through, the game lasted 60 - 100 hours. Given the DLC, the game was extended by 4 hours.
DA2 on the other hand, I beat that game in 20 hours first play through.[/quote]

i did all that and still i completed it in 47 hours but maybe thats just me and as for da2 did you do all the side quests because when i did all sidequests it took me 30- 40 hours to get to the 3rd act but the main quest itself is only about 20 hours thats true but most of the side quests change things in the main quests.

And ill admit it, i just don't get Bioshock. I tried to beat it, but i still haven't. I played through the "amazing" plot twist, and just didn't really care about what happened. Just seems like a FPS with bad shooting mechanics.

Same here.  I'm still trying to force myself to trudge through it in the hopes it will redeem itself by the end =/

Tales of Legendia was also very disappointing for me.  I had just finished Tales of Symphonia which probably only helped to raise my expectations for Legendia far beyond what it could ever accomplish.  I might've been able to play past the first hour had the main character not been break-dancing after every battle.  Image IPB

Alpha Protocol: Why? oh Why SEGA? How could you let a bunch of retard designers run to this game to Hell.
Bugs, Graphical Glitches, An Unbelievable IA, Horrible combat mechanic, baffling Design Choices, and so on...
it was an Outstanding Concept, and you let Obsidian ruin it.

Dragon Age 2: Do i need to explain? Seriously?

Far Cry 2: the game looked outstanding, like one of those Shooters that would Define the genera in this Generation, and maybe even of all time..... and we got this.

BioShock 2: this one is not bad, but considering how much i loved the first, i was incredibly Disappointed

Prince of Persia (2008): i consider myself a fan of the Original Trilogy, and this change did not convinced me, it was incredibly easy, yeah the others weren't that hard too, but they were harder than this, the story was also very bare bones, the enemies were a joke, and the camera was a B**ch, the only saving grace for me was the Art Style.

Sonic (2006): as someone who spent hours upon hours on the first 3 sonics, i was exited when SEGA said this one would revolutionaze the Series, and oh it did.... it made it unmentionable for me.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed: as a fan of the ORIGINAL Trilogy of Star Wars, i was actually intrigued by this game's Premise, it was suppose to bridge the Prequels () with the Originals, and i thought that would be interesting, and i got it.... half of it, i'm still waiting for the other half of the game, it is a incomplete, broken, buggy, messy PoS.

DaiKatana: Hey, Romero.... Who's a B***h now?
