Mass Effect 2. No, really. Mass Effect 2.
Mind you, I DID get it for free after registering my copy of Dragon Age 2, but I was told it was a RPG. I start up the game and find a third-person shooter. I died twice on the second mission just because I couldn't figure out how to turn the film grain effect off so I could see.
Sorry, guys, false advertising.
(Feel free to take that with a small caveat: I STILL haven't gotten to play the original Mass Effect, so I had no idea what the h377 I was getting myself into...)
Mass Effect 1, 2, and a cute N64 game called Jet Force Gemini are the only pew-pew games you can make me play. Hate shooters. Loathe. Abhor. Those three games are the only ones I can play, and enjoy. I'll likely add ME3 when the time comes, so long as they don't do something mean like off Thane, or shove him into a corner where you see him once.
Most disappointing games for me:
Alundra 2: Never played 1, I know, I know. 2 was just boring and boring and...more boring.
Grandia 2: ...again, boring. Mediocre. I hear the first was great. No way to play it now, unless it's on PSN?
FF13: I'm sorry, but reading your SE-version of the Codex shouldn't be a
necessity to understand a lot of what's going on. It should be there to flesh out a world, not be a main mode of exposition. Also, corridors. And you made Carbuncle into a clown looking travesty. As a summoner of 5+ years from FFXI, I cannot forgive you, SE.

Redeeming features: I liked Light and Snow.
KotOR 2: Not so much because the game was bad, I did enjoy it, but because what it could have been was so very, painfully obvious. And what it could have been was amazing. What it was, was okay at best. Lost potential bothers me more than potential never there.
