You obviously know NOTHING about the New York legislature....it was a mircale it even passed. Stop talking out of your ass and go clean up a landfill if you are so worried about us not handling bigger issues.

I Obvioulsy don't like the state of New York (long story envolves some ugliness I seen while there, permantly left a sour taste in my mouth for the state, be happy to tell you what in PM, not political really.). And also given I live in another state that doesn't have an equal trade pact or remotely anything in common, I don't care, what I'm saying is to the broader issue, whats wrong with civil unions?

You get all the same ****, and your not pissing in anyones cornflakes. I don't see the problem. Then again I don't count on the state to keep **** I got safe.

I never pissed in anyone's cornflake....ewwww...I don't want to eat where you eat.

There is no middle ground when it comes to human rights.

Lol, you can say what you want, but that doesn't change the facts: You have some serious issue's. So, did a drunken tourist once did something to you to cause that anger toward Europeans?

Pathetic. We have far bigger issues than garbage like this to deal with. Our economy is in shambles, we have sky rocketing gas prices, and unemployment, and we're all focusing on changing marriage laws. I feel sorry for New York, their politicians care more about appeasing a bunch of whiny crybabies, than actually working on real legislation.

Yeah, all those gay weddings won't be generating any kind of profit.

But they won't do any harm either.

Politicians deal with so much crap to keep us dumb and blind that it really doesn't matter.
If the Gay-People have fun being married, let them have it. There are so much straight couples denying marriage then let at least the gay couples have their fun showing that they belong together.
And sky rocketing gas prices? You don't even know what that means. Come to Europe, especially Germany and you'll get a quite new impression of "sky rocketing" gas prices. For your gallon you'd pay here 8.7$. Now is that a price? Believe me, gay marriage isn't any issue here. WE have quite other problems.

Folks, we do not discuss politics on this forum, even in the off-topic forum. There are plenty of news-oriented websites out there that will let you discuss this.
