My Shepard will call them idiots and then help them. Why? Because he doesn't want all advanced organic life in the galaxy to perish just because he has a bone to pick with petty fools.

My two Sheps will help. My herp derp paragon Shep still thinks there's time for Kumbaya around the campfire. My renegon Shep needs to save as many people as possible, and sometimes that means working with people she'd rather blow out the airlock.

Not that she has to be polite about it, but I think she's reached the magical place where she can just tune them out.

A huge reaper attacked the citadel and nearly killed them (or did actually kill them), how could they not?

How exactly could Shepard rally all the forces of the galaxy without the Council? It seems to me that Shepard saying "screw you" would leave getting the worse end of that deal in the fight for survival against the reapers. It'd be more like Shepard was be on his/her own, rather than them.

that was a a geth ship.. there is no evidence of these "reapers". The fact is bioware made sure shepard didn't gather any evidence so he could be on the outside without the help of the council..

it is more plausible that saren found an ancient warship that the geth worship and did it out of conquest than a fleet of sentient starships are waiting to kill us all

Considering that Vigil told us that the Reapers usually start at the Citadel, the heart of galactic civilization to destroy leaders and disrupt the ability to coordinate an effective resistance, and that the council represents 3 of the most important races for fighting the Reapers (The Salarian's scientific prowess and the Turian fleet especially); yes, I think it would be very detrimental to the whole reaper fighting survival effort.

I being a paragon would probably just say we have bigger problems on our hands than blaming each other, but if they give me crap, I'll have them tried for utter incompetence resulting in billions of deaths. If there is a situation that arises between saving the council or someone else, I'll let the council die this time.

The Council represents 4 (including humans) galactic civilizations. My help won't be dependent on whether or not they believed me, but on that fact alone. I'm more concerned with uniting races than making sure I rub it in their faces.

My default male paragon shepard would be willing to help the alien council in exchange the asari councilor would have a little fun with me and humilate the turian councilor in front of everyone in the galaxy.

I made sure at the end of ME1 that I would never have to deal with them again. Not those three anyway.

Three quick shots between their eyes. Then move on to save the galaxy.

That's the only reason I kept them alive for two games anyway.

After all this time my shepard doesn't have a problem with the salarian councilor and I wouldn't have a problem with the Asari Councilor if she gave me some special alone time incentive   . Though if that was to happen I hope Liara never finds out. The turian councilor on the other hand he's going to have to do alot of groveling and begging.

I wish there was a way to save and work with the salarian and asari councilors. They were at least reasonable in their doubt of me. The turian was just an annoying jerk.

the sad part is that, they think Searn did such a good job in convincing you that there are Reapers coming that they don't believe you. So in reality they still believe Searn was a better manipulator than you where. Too bad you can't show the vid of us using words to force himself to shoot himself in the head.... Who can convince who now....

IMO, this still applies to ANY comment I make back at them. I would let them keep there jobs... maybe not the Turran Councilor. and Ill have to say something in Air Quotes.

Well now do you think that Reapers are "Imaginary" And that I'm "Crazy" or "Fooled" I think your the one who was "Fooled" by your own stuipidity and arogance thinking you are the smartest most "Cleaver" race in the galaxy. And now has hopefully not doomed us all because of it.....

*Takes a deep breath, Smiles at the rest of the council* Ok down to business I would like to hear how you will help stop them.

Exactly. The mission comes first, regardless of the cost to your dignity. But if I don't get to echo "Ah yes, "Reapers"" back at the turian councillor along the way I'll call the writers idiots. It's quite possible there will be no other moment in the game that will give me as much satisfaction. Well, except winning and being with my chosen LI.

I feel the same way, but the Asari councilor really caught me off guard with her "this is treason" remark. The Salarian councilor has always seemed like a smart, level-headed guy to me.

I just pray for the day that Shepard does the finger quotes to the Turian councilor, "Ah yes, Reapers." That would be enough revenge for me...
