Posted before I actually wrote anything, woops.

So, at the end of the Patriarch assignment, The Patriarch comments that Aria wouldn't like how you're altering the balance of power because it reminds her of herself. So I was thinking, wouldn't it be great if at the end of ME3, assuming the Reapers are taken care of, if you could take over Omega from Aria? That would a sweet job imo. Maybe as DLC or something. And if not you, then Garrus or Zaeed, like how Liara got to be Shadow Broker.

It would be cool, but I doubt it would happen. In the end, Omega isn't really that important to the whole "reaper invasion" plot.

I'd rather just work with Aria to keep the status, maybe smack her in line here and there if she gets too ruthless. Otherwise I like her exactly where she is and think she's an excellent alternative to 90% of the other warlord/dictator types we've seen in the Terminus.

I don't think a human is fit to rule over a place like that. Aria probobly was there for centuries, as probobly was Patriarch before... what can you achive with a lifespan of 100 years in fron of you. Human would be a bad leader for a place like that and bad leaders are overthrown if the people are strong enough.

My canon Shep would probably at least consider it. My vanguard is too much of a white knight (and she's rather stupid to boot) but renegon Shepard would think about it. But idk if Omega would survive her, or if she'd survive Omega.

The guy just survived a war and instead of getting a well-deserved rest, he's going to grind his nerves with the most pointless rock in the entire galaxy.

Post-game? I dunno, like I said, one of my Shep's would consider. Yeah, some people might want retirement. But some have a very Garrus-like outlook on life. Samara mentions coming to Omega and helping people. Shepard would just be taking it to the next step. Omega would be a worthy challenge to some. *kanyeshrug*

Why is it Shepard's responsibility to make anything better? He or she will presumably save the galaxy from the Reapers. Consider any debts settled, yeah? 

Besides. Omega's a good place to make a living if you've got the quads for it, as are all lawless frontiers.
