When you talk about these sort of things, when faced with these kind of situations, **** the ethics. Just do whatever it takes. There's no ethical/unethical classification.

I'd rather shoot my daughter than have her raped till near death. I'd rather take that sin upon me than leave that atrocity happen upon her. I'd to the same to my wife.
I'd instruct my son to do what it takes to survive, be a man, learn from the mistakes committed and search for a better life.

Then yeah, I'd do whatever I can to take as many bastards with me before I eventually die. The less monsters on earth the less others will have to suffer.

The Jedi brainwashed Darth Revan. They're ethical.

That is entirely subjective. I say forcing people into celibacy and taking them away from their homes as infants and raising them as monks isn't very ethical at all.

Monks that kick ass, wield god like powers, and carry an awesome flahslight/welding tool/sword.

I think the ethics of shepard "indoctrinating people" are subjective, different people will see it different ways based on their background, politics, blah blah blah.

It really depends on the objectives of whoever is performing whatever action for whatever reason imo, if your trying to decern between selfishness or altruism, bad or good.

In that sence, I thought of reprogramming the Heretic geth as a good action as it reset the programming that the Reapers put on it, and setting the heretic geth back to normal and freeing them. The virus would have no negative effects if used in this way upon already normal geth, why? because you rewrote it so it would not. If you destroy them, you just blew lots of them up but left the Heretic to Normal Geth fissure ongoing with the fundamental problem unsolved. Doing that, to me, sounds unethical. To each their own i guess.
