anyone remember that Cerberus data you had the option of keeping that EDI said she would have decrypted in a year? I'm kind of curious what kind of role that will play in ME3.

How about the Geth data you gave to Tali in ME1? Will that have a role in retaking their homeworld like she said it would?

I hate how cryptic that thing is no data at all on what she discovered on it so far. BW shouldn't put things in the game like that and not let us read the info in it like Moridn's health notes there where no notes!

Indeed and I hope that it would have some effect. But sadly so far assignments haven't been that bid deal.

Other than that, BW sure tease us with all of these decrypted files.

I hope it does play in. Although I'll be somewhat screwed because I've never given Tali data in part one.

wasn't there also encrypted Cerberus data in ME1,when you attack their bases and then that one agent of the Shadow Broker contacts you?

(can't remember if it was encrypted or not)

I've forgotten more about even retrieving the data then if it was character specific. Kasumi's is the only one really fresh in my memory. The Tali data from ME1, would have been a nice disclosure in ME2 other than the "Do you remember that data I gave to you Tali? Did it help your pilgrimage?" This is one of the few gripes I have concerning how things are written. I'd like for more detail when I've done something instead of an email or small cut scene that really doesn't explain what it was about. I'm replaying the games over so that I don't miss anything when ME3 is released. I hope that someone at BW are actually playing these games from start to finish or they're reading through what must be like volumes of script to insure that most of these "little" things are brought to a close. Unfortunately, no one is perfect so I'm thinking that there are going to be a few details that have no closure.

I'm hoping the side quests have a significant impact, but given the comic for PS3 players and comic for ME3, I'm guessing they're going to be more of "hey neat" rather than influencing the story line. There would just be so much for them to cover if they all had a big impact.

I do think it will be more than ME2 though. They couldn't allow too many different things to happen in ME2 without starting to cause too many possibilities to account for in ME3.
