ive just had a brain wave and its got to do with the council.
the three options are:
original council with human
human led council with aliens
or an all human council
same council will they be hesitante to help earth and claim its only an human interest until there worlds get invaded but once that happens the entire galaxy unites
human led council with aliens will help imediately but will take time to convience the other species
the all human council will help straight away but take forever to gain reinforcements from the other aliens due to the hatred that is gaverthed agianst the humans
what do you think??
The council and the fate of earth

It won't make a difference but in some dialogue options, not trying to be pessimistic but it is unrealistic to think they can create 3 different story lines that plays out differently in 1 game, unless you are prepare to pay triple price.

Im not gonna say that BW has no choice but to do it. Cause they can make the game how they want.
But I will say this. Since they decided to import player choices from the first game into the second game. And choices from both games into the third. They should have vastly different "story lines" due to the number of choices that a player could have made.
It has been said in numorous threads, and ill say it again. I think dragon age 2 by itself is a great game. But compared to the first game. And the fact you import your data from the first game, only for it not to matter. I think BW failed with DA2. I also believed they learned their leason with that game for ME3. Even if it is different development teams working on each project. This is why I think that ME3 will actually be more like what us players want, and be nothing like how DA2 turned out. Where no matter what choices you made ingame, you were left with the same endgame story line. And were forced to play along.
Casey Hudson has stated many times that this game is about the choices that players have made. And that they will effect ME3. It was also stated by a BW employee, that importing a char will have great benefits beyond their "unique" story line

Ah yes "choices that matters"
You still win and get a different epilogue depending on your choices.
They wont add missions you only do if council is alive or vice versa like many people want to believe, it would add to development cost, it would add to development time and game would cost 3-4 times its current price, making more people pirate the game... It's not a situation that is feasible for anyone, much less the developer.
Dream all you want, it's the epilogue where the real differences are shown.
